Nazca - Brunch peruano — Restaurant in Barcelona

following a friend´s recommendation, we came from far away to eat here. unfortunately, we made a similar experience to some of the reviewers here complaining about the unfriendly staff. half an hour before the indicated closing time, we were denied entrance (by who we later found out is one of the owners) with a cynical smile and a comment "i have to eat too". after my wife dropped a message to them on instagram to tell them to fix the indicated opening hours, the same gentleman that denied us the service responded in a very angry and ugly way with personal attacks (yes, my wife was upset, but the response was VERY disproportionate). we are used to a different kind of treatment, no matter the price range, especialy at peruvian places which are famous not only for the amazing flavors, but the kindness of the staff. we understand if they want to close on time, but there are many other ways to handle such situations, you can offer take away, a discount for the next visit, or just simply explain it in a friendly manner instead of making potential clients feel that you´re doing a favor serving them. thank god there are plenty of peruvian places to choose from in barcelona, with tasty peruvian food AND friendly...

I had an excellent experience at Nazca, where the food was served in a friendly and inviting manner. It felt like visiting an old friend who was genuinely happy to see me. This was my first time there, and after looking through the menu, I was eager to try the “croquette de aji de gallina.” I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was for a light breakfast—it’s such an innovative idea! The prices are very reasonable as well. If there’s a place I would love to return to, it’s definitely Nazca. I highly recommend visiting this spot, which is just a 10-minute walk from...

Excelente sánguche de chicharrones. Tiene muchas más cositas en carta pero que aún no he probado. Atención agradable 😌 ( seguir leyendo abajo, he añadido cosas de esta reseña 1 año después) . . . Tengo que decir que hago esta reseña mucho tiempo después de la primera. Seguí viniendo a este local porque realmente me encantaba. Pero debo decir que NO recomiendo nada que lleve limón. Ya hace unas semanas fui con un amigo a tomarme una limonada Frozen y el un jugo de naranja. La limonada dejaba mucho que desear, se nota que no es limón natural..y si se usa, lo hacen a medias y completan con el de bote. El regusto se siente, y el zumo de naranja estaba alargado con agua..no dije nada, porque el pan con chicharron que me pedí estaba increíble como siempre. Sin embargo hoy fui a comer un ceviche..ya había comido antes allí ese plato y siempre me gustó,pero nuevamente el ácido del limón era artificial. Buena presentación del plato,.pescado fresco..pero de que sirve si la leche de tigre no vale nada? Ahora estoy en casa con la panza inflada y con dolor desde hace horas, una pena la verdad. Tengo que añadir que se debe revisar las cañerías, el local tiene mal olor y eso da un bajón que no veas. Las dos ultimas veces que fui no había música..no sé. Es un sitio que empezó muy bien pero ahora ha bajado mucho. No tengo problemas con el resto de los platos, son deliciosos. Pero no recomiendo nada con cítricos, xq no lo vale.
