Quesarium Restaurant & Cocktails — Restaurant in Barcelona

This was the worst dining experience ever! It all started with the fact that they didn't bring us a menu for 10 minutes. We thought okay, that's how it happens and took it ourselves because it was right next to us. The sequel will surprise you! We ordered three dishes and wine. Everything continued with the fact that they brought us the wrong wine glasses. Next, they brought us a dish without the specified ingredients: fish, new potatoes and pickled cucumbers. The dish was with baked cheese, which had cooled down and was just like a piece, the potatoes were not young, but ordinary, instead of the other, we were given slices of carrots, zucchini and beets... WE WERE VERY HUNGRY, and thought ok. Then everything went worse, the waiter did not bring us water, although he offered it himself. Then tasteless and fresh tartare. And at the end, a salad with goat cheese, which should have been hot, but turned out to be cold. In the end, they brought us an interesting check, where it was written that there should have been fish in our dish...but I didn't have the strength to argue, I just decided that for such an attitude, I wanted to leave zero tips and a bad review for a...

Disappointed unfortunately, probably it is more of an instagramable place, as the cheese serving is beautiful. However, for those who are willing to actually eat: a Swiss cheese platter for 19,99€ contained little of each of the 4 cheese types, and waiting time for that one platter was apr. 1 hour and 20 minutes. (We had to point out to the waiter that the cheese platter was ready and waiting to be delivered to our table as we saw it standing on the bar for like 10 minutes). Btw, no one even named what was what of those 4 types. Only 4 numbers were pinned, so as a suggestion I would offer to pin a cheese name, rather than just a number in the future.

After such a bummer we did not dare to order “syrniki” we were craving for.

Also, a more wine knowledgable person is expected at a cheese place with wine menu. The staff simply did not know what was what. I hope we were unlucky with the shift (2 June in the evening). Overall, atmosphere and tidiness is a big plus. The staff was polite and smiling, but simply not competent...

We came in the evening with a reservation which the staff didn't even care about and directly sent us to bar, even though we came for dinner. Since the place is called "restaurant and cocktails" with a signature cocktail menu on their website (that's also one of the reasons we chose the place) we expected to get cocktails, however, after asking for the cocktail menu we were told that they only have a cocktail of the day which was quite disappointing for a cocktail place. When we asked what the cocktail of the day was, the waiter didn't know. We didn't get answer in the next at least 30-40min even after asking two more times. This was just something beyond my understanding. We also asked the other waitress if we could change a table for an outside one since it was empty, her answer was simply "no".
