RAMEN DOU — Restaurant in Barcelona

Good lord i do not know how this restaurant has this high rating. Worse experience of my life. If you want to be insulted by rude waiter, go there. Today my friends came here from Switzerland and we ended up at this place for dinner. All us being from hospitality industry. The restaurant was empty and the largest seat was occupied by suitcases of not the customer but the service guy. We were 5, there was no other table to sit, so the guy angrly removed his stuff. It was super hot and we were sweating from all the walking. A ramen restaurant should be cold, so you can enjoy the hot soup. Upon requesting 3 times for ventilaton, they turned it on with a frown. Upto this point some will think this is the bad experience, but what if i tell you, this was the good part? After 5min of seating the guy comes and we start ordering. If i ask him about some ramen or dish, he would get pissed and scold me. After 4 of us had ordered, he asked my 5th friend for his order and my friend said give me 2min to decide. The guy literally scolded him, that why he didn't decide. Like bro wtf? He even gave a speech about if you guys say you are ready, you should be ready, blah blah. Man all 4 of us had ordered, can you not come back after 5min to take one guus order? My friend got embarrassed and just ordered anything. Any time we needed something, we had to get scolded or the guy would go to his female colleague and say something in Chinese, yeah all people working are Chinese not japanese. But whatever. Being in hospitality industry, i would never expect this behavior even with non paying customers. The food was meh. We would have gotten up and left in the beginning, but we were just too hungry and tired from walking all day. Obviously did not leave any tip for this rude guy. He looks like he does not want to work and wants to sit with his earplug, with no customer, this is what he was doing before we came, he is around 19-20. The chubby chinese waiter is very unprofessional, i asked if I can use the toilet first then i will order after because i really need to pee or do i need to order now. He then proceeded with an effing grimace! And he pause and think while doing a disgusted facial reaction about my question… and he proceeded with a sigh and said ok you can use the toilet then seat there. I went up to the toilet and he followed me after. I went out if the toilet and he was waiting outside the toilet. I proceeded to order and wanted to take a table on the second floor because he was giving me the same face then it started to irritate me. That’s when i started to be firm and said i will seat there. I ordered and expecting the food to be outstanding because of his snobbish hospitality… I know what a Japanese food should taste at it‘s bare minimum. I know they are all chinese because i can here them talk.. and no self respecting japanese will be that rude. So my food came and it was like someone put 2 tablespoon of salt on the curry sauce of my tonkatsu. It was very salty and awful, the miso soup tasted like water with a hint of miso, even a home cook or instant miso taste fantastic compared to their food. Was on February 28 in this place around 17.00 with a friend. Wanted to eat, but the waiter girl refused to serve us. The restaurant was empty and we chose the most comfortable table (for 4 person), which was far from the open door, where the wind from the street. But the waitress refused to serve us, saying that we should sit at a table for 2 person. we kindly explained that the restaurant is completely empty and we are in a hurry, so we will fast eat and leave. and if she closes the front door we will move to another table, no problem with that. but the waitress did not speak well English and Spanish. She don’t understand what we ask her.. Also she couldn't explain why we couldn't sit in an empty restaurant at a table that was for 4. she refused to serve us and began to show with her hands that we should leave.. it was very unpleasant... first time I saw so rude servise.
