HORRIBLE RESTAURANT. Firstly we sit down and were swarmed by mosquitoes. Server tells us it’s because we are seated near washroom so she moves us 1 table over. Good thing mosquitoes can’t travel more than 1 foot! I ordered the Tandoori Prawns and they came flaming hot, burnt, with shells on. After telling the server it was impossible to eat without burning my fingers peeling them, he says “sir what do you want it came exactly like in the picture”. The picture on the menu did not come with shells at all, they weren’t even the same prawns. I get up to use the mosquito infested washroom and they had a sign “please do not flush toilet paper, discard it in the garbage can”. No wonder there was a mosquito infestation. We asked for icewater and at the end of the meal they tried to charge us for it. This is not a restaurant for people it’s a restaurant for mosquitoes. i’ve been to restaurants in the middle of Indian villages with no running water that are cleaner and have better service. I emplore you to never eat at...
Read moreI had the most incredible dining experience at this Indian restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing.
The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, from the perfectly spiced curries to the fragrant chefs mutton dish. The garlic naan was soft and buttery, and the tandoori chicken was cooked to perfection, with a smoky char and tender meat. We also tried the samosas, which were crispy on the outside and filled with a deliciously spiced potato mixture.
What stood out most was the balance of flavors in every dish. Nothing was too spicy or too mild—it was all perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous, and the presentation was beautiful.
This is easily one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. So good we came to eat here 2 nights in a row! I can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic...
Read moreFor anyone in Barcelona, don’t mistake “Flavors of India” for authentic Indian cuisine. The taste is far from genuine, the portions are small for the high prices, and the overall experience is disappointing.
We ordered the veg biryani, but it was just fried rice—not real biryani. The taste was okay and edible, but not what we expected. The dal makhani tasted like a pre-packaged item that was simply reheated. On top of that, the service was extremely slow.
This is a tourist spot in a central location, so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much. The restaurant owners might have adjusted the flavors to suit local tastes, but the name is definitely misleading.
Overall, we were disappointed with both the taste and service. As an Indian, I definitely wouldn’t want others to believe this restaurant represents the true...
