The tuna tataki was a great quality fish, not seasoned to my liking (lacked sweetness even with the mango) but it is good quality fish and they season it in their style. 👌 You might like it if you have a different preference.
The steak was fantastic especially for the price, 10/10. Was not too salty (which I also would’ve preferred but again maybe you’ll like it more than me).
We also got this taco tapas (unsure of name) and it was delicious. Very Mediterranean inspired flavors, which make sense, especially for the Moroccan styled chicken (which had labneh in it and was delicious).
the people I dined with had garlic prawns and said they were the best out of everything; sweet. and they liked the tataki as well.
All in all you should 100% go here it is worth your money and the service is friendly.
The bathroom (sink to wash hands) was a bit dirty so that’s why I’m giving 3 stars for atmosphere but the place is cute! It’s just that usually the quality of the bathrooms reflects the quality of the way they prepare their food, but hey, no hairs found so I...
Read moreVisited this place on my travels to Barcelona & trying to find a tapas restaurant with good reviews and my adventures led me here. The location is quite nice as its located right in the gothic quarters, surrounded by beautiful architecture. The restaurant itself wasnt super packed, but there was a good handful of people during a normal dinner time (7:45pm). The lighting & music gave the place a nice relaxed, semi-bougie vibe.
The pricing wasnt anything outlandish for its location (heavy foot traffic tourist area) but the quality of food was definitely up to par. Not the best I've had, but not the worst, above average. Even though all the other reviews are raving about the potatoes being amazing, i saw nothing special about em. The almond cream meatballs were something I'd recommend trying. Everything else didnt really WOW me, but it was well done none the less.
If you're looking for a tapas spot and you're in the area, I'd check this spot out! The drinks are reasonably priced as well. I tried the margarita and it was very well...
Read morePicked this pace based on all the favorable Yelp reviews and I'm sure glad I did! We had the best tapas in all of Barcelona in this little restaurant. We were a group of five and they sat us at the table with bar stools in the rear section. It was actually quite a nice spot away from the noise (I prefer to be able to hear a person sitting across from me at the table). We ordered Catalan bread with tomatoes which was delicious, goulash which was wonderfully done and very tasty. Having had enough of Jamon Iberico, we instead opted to try the traditional Catalan cured ham,and didn't regret it for a second. The kids loved the Sirloin steak with herbs so much that each ordered a second portion! Salmon and Tuna Tataki were outstanding as well. This is the tapas place we started to measure other places against, and so far only one other place in Madrid came close in terms of authenticity and quality. Eat...
