Great seafood spot that has the local vibe. We chose to sit outside, great for people watching on busy walkway. Food was great, service was better and the check was minimal. Tapas are only served at bar and we had a beer and few tapas while waiting on table. We ordered the 'Surtido Frito Gaditano' to sample everything along with an order of 'Pechos de cangrejo ruso' and the 'pulpo a la gallega' - the Pechos were my personal favorite. The Sangria is also a great choice if beer is not your thing. Affordable, good food and great service - you cant go wrong!

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! 👎 👎 👎 👎 👎 AVOID! 1. Food arrived almost an hour after ordering. 2. Ordered three dishes, only one gets served- after almost an hour. 3. After another 30 minutes if we hadn't asked, they wouldn't have served the rest of the dishes ordered. 4. The first order served was wrong. Didn't bother to correct it since we were already very hungry waiting for almost an hour. We ordered baby squids and we received the regular sized ones. 5. The shrimp fritters were awful. Its full of batter and no shrimps at all. Its more like a batter deep fried. Disgusting. 6. The bread served was extremely stale and cardboard-like in texture. Very bad. We could've gotten so much more for our money from another place. AWFUL AWFUL EXPERIENCE. Customers never complain, WE JUST DON'T COME BACK.

This restaurant is heaving with locals at lunchtime - both inside and outside - and you may have to wait for a table. We started with a mixed seafood salad which was lovely and fresh with lots of seafood. I then had a plate of tiger prawns which were delicious and perfectly cooked. We then shared a fried mixed seafood platter which had lots of different items but they all tasted very much the same and I didnt think it was very special. The 3 dishes and 2 beers came to 32.85 euros which was a bit high for lunch especially as it wasnt great. Worth trying for the experience but dont bother with the fried mixed platter.

We were recommended this place as somewhere we had to go to experience real Cádiz food and we were not disappointed! It’s like a busy Spanish fish and chip shop - but where they have so much more on the menu. It’s cheap and cheerful - you can order at a table (sometimes the queue can be very long to get one) or you can order takeaway. It’s loud, bustling and everything you’d want from a fun food experience- just don’t expect gourmet so manage expectations!

This is one of those places you go because it's busy, loud and bustling. Things happen quickly and brusquely. The food is pretty good and the service was amicable. The fried fish was decently seasoned, which isn't always the case. The roast pepper salad was good. Be aware you can't order tapas sized dishes if you're seated. Only at the bar. Nice wine for 1.70, too!

“Cría fama y échate a dormir”. Yo volvería pero no compensa hacer cola.
