Nestled in the vibrant Barrio de las Letras, Restaurant El Lacón is a culinary treasure that deserves its 5-star reputation. The moment you step into this 17th-century palace turned eatery, you're greeted with an ambiance that perfectly blends historical charm with modern comfort.
The menu is a celebration of Spanish gastronomy, and the 'cordero asado' (roast lamb) is a standout dish that is a must-try for any meat lover. It's succulent, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, embodying the rich culinary traditions of Spain.
El Lacón's tapas are a feast for the senses, especially the 'callos con garbanzos', which has locals and visitors alike claiming it's the best in Madrid. The 'cocido madrileño' is another highlight, offering a taste of home-cooked goodness that warms the soul.
With attentive service and an impressive wine selection, El Lacón is more than just a meal; it's an experience that lingers long after the last bite. Whether you're in for a quick tapas fix or a leisurely dinner, this restaurant is a gastronomic delight that truly earns its...

El Lacón is one of those places I love to take visitors to enjoy a tasty snapshot of life in Madrid. Pop in and you'll see...

The restaurant is very centrally located, just a 5-minute walk from Puerta del Sol. Apart from that, El Lacón...
