Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. We were misled by the rating and positive comments but ended up attending a show where we were rushed to our seats, and no one even asked if we wanted to see the menu — we had to ask for it ourselves. The waiter was rude and clearly unprofessional. Every table was so close to the others (obviously to fit more customers at the expense of comfort) that we could barely move. Our table was right next to the dancers, and I ended up with a terrible migraine from the excessive noise. The whole place felt tense, as if customers were expected to remain completely silent throughout.
When the food arrived, we expected more — especially since the waiter told us that an entrée and a main course would be enough. The entrée was just a quarter slice of bread with a tiny strip of ham, and the main course was a small portion of salmon and pork, presented as if it were gourmet, but completely lacking in flavour. For the quality and quantity provided, both the food and the show were extremely overpriced.
After the show, the lights came on and the same rushed, apathetic server immediately brought the bill without giving us the chance to ask about dessert options — even though there was still plenty of time before the next performance. It was made very clear that we were expected to leave.
We walked out of the place hungry, with a migraine, extremely confused, and feeling completely scammed. This restaurant clearly sees customers only as a source of money, without any regard for the actual experience.
I will say, however, that the dancers and musicians were truly talented and passionate. They deserve to be performing in a proper setting that respects their art and offers a much better atmosphere for both artists and audience.
I truly hope more people write honest reviews, so others aren’t deceived and can support businesses that actually put in the work and passion — not this one, which has clearly lost all respect and care for the people who...
Read moreIt was our last evening on a vacation throughout Spain and we decided to attend this flamenco dinner to end off my 50th birthday vacation. What an excellent experience we had at this event. The food was spectacular and the entertainment was superb! I made reservations and this place did not disappoint. The service was fantastic and with a smile. The attention to detail was like no other. I had included in my reservation that I was celebrating my 50th birthday, not thinking anything about it, and to my surprise we were seated front row and at the end of the show they actually acknowledged me, sang me a birthday blessing, and even brought me a little dessert cake with a candle. I was truly touched by this as I did not expect that. Thank you so much to this establishment for making me feel so special on my birthday. The cutest part was at the end when they bring out their kids and they put on a little performance. What a great addition to the show which made everyone smile. The food was all so delicious. I don’t even remember what we ate, but it was so good and all pictured in this review. So, fun fact: The next day on our flight home, we sat next to a young gentleman who also does flamenco, and we told him about what an amazing experience we had here and when I showed him the pictures, he knew exactly who they were and even said they were the best in the game. So happy to have made the choice to come here. I highly recommend this place. Don’t go anywhere else but here. You will not regret it. Not a bad seat in the house. I’d give it more than 5...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the Tablao de la Villa in Madrid, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and welcoming energy that set the tone for an amazing evening.
Our waiter Hector was an absolute gem, providing exceptional service and attention to detail throughout our meal. He made excellent menu recommendations and was always there to refill our glasses and answer any questions we had.
But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. Every dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention, and the flavors were simply divine. From the tender ham to the perfectly cooked steak, everything was absolutely delicious and left us wanting more.
And let's not forget about the entertainment! The singing and dancing performances were nothing short of breathtaking. We were moved to tears by the raw emotion and passion displayed by the performers, and it truly added an extra layer of magic to an already unforgettable evening.
Overall, I cannot recommend the Flamingo Dancing Restaurant enough. It truly exceeded all of our expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in Madrid, look no further than this...
