Racist staff - the waitress was rude and impolite. We could certainly tell the difference of service we received compared to others. When ordering we asked for a tea and a coffee, and after 20 minutes after getting a coffee, I checked with the waitress again about the tea, and she said they didnât have tea. I was like, why you didnât let us know from the beginning?? Also, the table next to us was served the same noodle soup quicker than us although they arrived later, and the waitress smilingly explained the food to them and checked on them several times while they were eating. However, we were kept waiting until we asked for our main dishes and she never came to our table unless we asked. I donât know where her bias came from, but as a new customer coming into the restaurant being polite, itâs not fair to receive the service like that.

Response to your response,
Regarding the gap between the two drinks, thatâs because your staff did not mention you donât have black tea. It was when I checked again where was the other drink, your staff said no black tea so we asked for a water instead. If your staff mentioned at the beginning, we would ask for water or any of other drinks so it wonât leave us two people only had one drink. And if your staff care about customer enough, she would check whether we were ok with only one drink.
regarding the food, if your staff was being kind enough, she would possibly ask whether we wanted starter first or all food together. However, as sheâs so unpleasant serving us, of course she didnât care how we wanted.
as you didnât mention about politeness, I take it you already knew from the footage that your staff treated us differently from...
Read moreI love vietnamese food and when I saw that this vietnamese place was rated so high, I had to go there, although the pictures of the place didn't look so nice. The waitress was super intrusive. She asked us multiple times what we wanted to eat after we said a second ago that we are not ready to order food, because we wanted to share and were not aligned yet. The food was a really small portion and tasted bland. We had rice with chicken and rice noodles with beef and it tasted almost the same. Then as a side there was this cheap asia sweat and sour sauce included, which is absolutley not authentic and was also not self made. It wasn't horrible, but we expected something else and were really dissapointed. I think the good ratings are bought and not real and wouldn't recommend the place. If you look at the ratings it is also very obvious that they are not real. They are repetitive, the 5 Star ratings are all from accounts with one rating and also a lot of ratings at the same day....
Read moreES Vietnam has always been our go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Opera. The food is always top notch. In this visit, we had the Pho Bo and the Bun bo Nam Bo. The broth of the pho was very tasty and they ask you how you want the beef to be cooked (well done or less). They give you extra veggies to add to the pho and I've always liked that because I feel like I'm eating a deliciously healthy food. I like mine with a little bit of sriracha. The Bun bo Nam Bo was also very delicious. You can add all of the sauce for the full experience. We asked our waitress to separate the peanuts and they happily agreed to do so. They even asked us if they can put the sesame seeds in (checking with us proactively to make sure they don't add anything that might trigger allergies).
One of our favorites is the Bun Cha. It's a little more pricey than the rest of the menu but well worth it! Oh, and get some Vietnamese coffee of you like strong,...
