Place at the beginning looked really nice, but… don’t come to that place! The food was served one by one so we had to eat alone which was very uncomfortable and took a lot of time because the place is busy. Before the end of our reservation we wanted to order another wine. We were informed that our reservation is close to an end so we can drink it at the table next to the bar, we agreed. After a while a lady came to our table and informed us that our reservation is over but we can drink the bottle of wine at the same table that waiter pointed us a while ago. We waited a little because it was occupied by the people who waited for their table. We still stood by ours because we had another bottle of water and wine, and we couldn’t stand with all our things in our hands, but some waiter came and without saying anything started to clean our table almost hitting us. The lady who informed us that we have to leave the table helped us to carry all the things to the table next to the bar. After a while came to us the waiter who treated us in a very unpleasant way speaking Spanish, but when I told him that I could speak only English he just replied: “your time is over, go out!”, he was really offensive. We replied the waiter that two of his colleagues told us we can stay there and drink the rest of our wine, he didn’t reply and left. After a while came “the manager” and started to argue with us that she had a reservation for a waiting table, which was hilarious. She was also impolite and rude and told us we must leave now. The only nice person who worked here was the waiter who...

The was my first night in Madrid and I had high hopes for this restaurant but unfortunately it was a let down. I expected a lot of shows and of a good standard but they are honestly not great. If you’ve ever been to a Bunga Bunga restaurant in London and seen their amazing shows, don’t expect this. It’s basically a couple of songs and a pretty poor magician in fanatico. We reserved this restaurant months ago so we could go on the same day we land for our holiday. The reception staff were poor, basically they hadn’t got our reservation ready and when we got on our table, after 5 minutes a lady, I’m guessing one of the managers walked up to my wife without introducing herself or anything and just said whats your name in a blunt manner and walked off. This was very rude, the waiter was ok and friendly just poor guy was crazy busy. We had two lovely starters, the avocado and the burrata salad and I would recommend them both. The mains we had were disgusting, the pasta was uncooked and tastes like fish water and my wife’s meat was old and tough, definitely don’t try this. The wine list is good and reasonable. Overall I would not recommend going to this restaurant as the food is not great, some staff are rude and you only have a short time to eat before they give you your bill and you have to leave. Our waiter walked up to our table while we were still drinking and hadn’t been offered any dessert to say he had to give us our bill so we were expected to leave. There are some amazing restaurants in Madrid and this is not one I would recommend at all when visit this...

Avoid!!!! Worst experience ever in a "trendy" restaurant!!! Booked 2 week before ... requested a nice table for a couple celebration... came at time expected.... the lady at the desk escorted us in a room upstairs... far from the main restaurant room. Poor location.... we kindly asked to be in the main room as tables were free. Lady told us the is a private party there abd cannot be there... a lie because there were no private party. Then she told us ok for the table there but with a cost of 300 euros per person!!!! 1200euroa for a dinner!!!! Even in a 3michelin stars you cannot have this condition. Very arrogant... she told us take the table upstairs or leave. Meanwhile our wife's found a table on the upper room, next to the one they prepared for us.... sit there Meanwhile while I was with my friend trying to have a better location...the the manager came... sending 3 security guys!!!! Telling us she is the only one to decide... that were her restaurant and she will call police if we don't move from that table!!!!!!

We decided of course to leave because we will never event spend a single penny with this non educated people... treating us like shit!!!!

3 security guys!!!!! Come on!!! Are you serious!!! Private party ! !! Are you serious ! !!

Shame on you for kind of welcome !

Best of the best... manager smiling and very happy when we were leaving... like a victory for her.... all this with other guests around!

Well done Fanatico Madrid... you deserve the award of the worst restaurant ever experienced.

We went to Zuma to enjoy...

From the outside, Fanatico looks like a well established fine dining restaurant, complete with an eccentric interior design and a range of dishes. Certainly the most eye-catching part of the restaurant is the giant elephant statue centerpiece. Unfortunately, the unique interior design is perhaps the only decent part of the meal. The Iberian Ham croquettes were incredibly salty, the Sweet Potato Hummus tasted too much like bottled gazpacho, and to top it all off, the roasted Angus Ribs were literally served to my table COLD. Not cool or uncooked, but literally cold. With the meat and fat congealed, tasteless, and entirely an incredible show of incompetence from the Fanatico kitchen. Luckily, the waiter and manager tried it themselves and returned with a fresh and thankfully cooked Angus rib, but even then the dish was drowned in a barbecue teriyaki sauce that hid the blandness of the meat itself. In between the meal, the lights were dimmed and diners were serenade by live musicians - which depending on your perspective, either cheapened the dining experience, or elevated it. In the end, the only saving grace for Fanatico, was the excellence of the waiters and staff. Quite friendly, and accommodating. But if you're coming to Fanatico for the food, which let's face it, as a restaurant you probably are. I highly recommend you look elsewhere, For us, between the salty croquettes and the downright cold Angus rib, there is no returning to Fanatico. 3/5 🌟

If you’re in Madrid and looking for a place that effortlessly blends gastronomic elegance, theatrical spectacle, and wild tribal energy, look no further than Fanático. I came here for dinner and ended up staying past midnight, completely mesmerised. The night started with exquisite seafood, fresh, masterfully seasoned, and plated like artwork. Every bite of the octopus and shrimp was a celebration of the ocean. But once the clock struck midnight… the atmosphere exploded into a sensory ritual. The restaurant transformed into a tribal nightclub, ignited by an electrifying performance of dancers from Africa. Dressed in authentic, stunning costumes and body paint, they delivered a fiery, hypnotic show that felt like stepping into another world. From fire-dancing to rhythmic chants, it wasn’t just entertainment but an immersive cultural experience. The interior is a wild fusion of zebra patterns, African masks, moody lighting, and pulsing music. You don’t just eat here — you feel the pulse of something ancient and powerful. Fanático isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a ritual. A voyage. A celebration. Come hungry for food — but stay for the fire in your soul. 5/5 stars – unforgettable, thrilling, delicious, and absolutely one of Madrid’s best-kept secrets. To my brother Fede, thanks for the recommendation!

OVERPRICED. The food is not so good. First, the aperitivo, they said it was yuca con pesto... I had the pesto but I am still looking for the yuca. I had a solomillo that probably weighs less than 200g and paid 30€ without the side... I had more fries (MCDONALD'S do better fries) than meat... My friend had one egg on ham and potato and it cost 20€.. The sauce they serve are also way too salty. The apple pie was good but I am pretty sure they did not cook it. Second, the place stayed stuck in the 70's, and is in a great need of renovation. It is ugly and also kind of smelly. They are serving people right at the entrance of the toilet... thank God I was not seated next to it, but I felt bad for that couple eating between the bathroom door and the cigarette vending machine. The show itself is pointless and not good. Yes the singers and the two dancers are "ok" but that's it. The magician is probably as useless as the big elephant in the room. To resume... Do not go there, it is definitely not worth it.
