Was super excited to try this place because gf tapas, but we were so let down. We ordered the boletus croquettes, chicken fingers, calamari, burger, cachopo de ternera, and the so called white chocolate dessert. We also tried three mojitos - coconut, pineapple, and strawberry.
Croquettes were the star - super yummy. But the chicken fingers were dry, calamari was too salty, burger was ok, and cachopo grossed me out. The white chocolate dessert had no white chocolate and came with ice cream that was totally melted.
Mojitos were strong and tasted good.
Service was awful. There was one waitress and one bartender. It didn’t seem that busy, but maybe it was too much for the two of them. We had to keep calling their attention and they had such nasty attitudes. We asked them to take the dessert off the bill because it was not at all what was advertised and the girl went to take it, talking about us audibly.
I’m glad this place was gluten-free but we won’t...
Read moreThis place is probably fine to grab a drink but the food was not good. My friends and I decided to have dinner here and ordered the ham croquettes, a cheese burger, a salad and the new nachos. The only good thing was the croquettes. The nachos had a lick of meat, watery guacamole, a gross cheese wiz topping and bland overall flavor. My burger was over cooked, flavorless and hard to chew even though I asked for it to be cooked medium. The potatoes my burger came with were soggy from all of the hot sauce they poured on it. My friends found the waiter to be a bit condescending whenever they asked him a question and the chair my sister sat in had a jagged edge that ripped through her expensive pants. We payed for the cardboard they called food and went somewhere else for tapas. The people who were there for the drinks and music seemed to be having a good time so maybe it’s just...
Read moreWe live around the corner and had never visited this restaurant before. We stopped by at seven in the evening, wanting to sit in one of the six outdoor tables and have something to drink. The greeter had to get permission to seat us from the manager who asked us how long we were going to occupy the table, since they were generally reserved for diners. She grudgingly let us have a table, but the entire process of being grilled, as though we were somehow intruding by giving them our business, was distasteful. (I should point out that people don’t eat dinner here in Madrid until 10 o’clock at night, and all of the tables were empty.) Then, we found out that we could only have coffee if we were indoors. Our server was pleasant, which is the only nice thing I have to say about the experience. We will not...
