Not been to a place like this before and as a first experience for tacos I was pretty satisfied. Small place but managed to get a table quickly on a Sunday night. Service was busy but didn't take longer they were polite and actually spoke in English and offered an English menu if I wanted. I tried quite a few things from the menu but my favourites were the carnita gringa and the taco cochinita. On the flip side didn't like at all the taco nopalito, which is cactus from what I was told. Maybe it's an acquired taste but it came across as a very strong taste, like eating blue cheese for the first time. The margarita guayaba was exquisite - would be drinking much more of the other flavours too if I could! Centrally located and easy to reach, I think it's a good place to grab a bite.

If you’re craving authentic Mexican flavors that dance on your taste buds, look no further than El Rey de los tacos . What truly sets El Rey de los tacos apart is their commitment to quality. Every ingredient feels fresh and thoughtfully sourced, and it shows in every bite. The tortillas 🇲🇽🇲🇽are soft and pillowy, the meats perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the toppings add just the right amount of crunch and zest. But it’s not just the food that makes this place special; it’s the atmosphere too. The cozy yet vibrant ambiance makes you feel right at home, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite on your lunch break or settling in for a leisurely dinner with friends . 🌮🌮🌮

This was my first dinner in Madrid and decided to come here for some tacos as we have seen the amazing reviews online and it was close to our hotel. We were delighted with the experience, the food was incredible, super fresh and flavourful. We got 2 sharing plates to try all the different tacos they make and we were not disappointed. The variety was huge and they were all amazing. They have a huge range of margaritas too and they were all perfect. Moreover, our waiter Danilo was amazing, he explained us all the menu (food and drinks) and gave us suggestions. Will definitely come back during our stay here and if you are coming to Madrid you should come here for dinner.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Rey de los Tacos, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere. This hidden gem truly lives up to its name as the king of tacos.

First and foremost, the food at El Rey de los Tacos is unparalleled. The menu offers a wide variety of authentic dishes, but it's the tacos that steal the show. Each taco is meticulously crafted with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor.

Lastly, the affordability of the menu at El Rey de los Tacos is another reason to celebrate. The quality of the food combined with reasonable prices makes it an excellent value for money. You can satisfy your cravings without breaking the bank, leaving you even more satisfied with your visit.

In conclusion, El Rey de los Tacos reigns supreme when it comes to delicious, authentic cuisine. From the flavorful tacos to the warm and friendly service, this restaurant excels in every aspect. Whether you're a local or a visitor, a visit to El Rey de los Tacos is an absolute must. Prepare to indulge your taste buds and embark on a culinary journey fit for a...

Don’t get fooled! They exchange Wi-Fi for positive reviews. The service here was really bad. The waitress brought the menu only when we asked after we had previously waited without one for minutes. After that, we weren't noticed at all for 20 minutes, even though there were only 6 other people there besides us. If I hadn't been so hungry I would have left a long time ago. The food was below average and the guacamole really not good. Both of our drinks were completely forgotten. We saved ourselves an inquiry, as the waitress walks around and just doesn't look at anyone, so that she doesn't have to take any order. Even if you want to ask for the bill, you can count on the waitress to look everywhere else but at the customers. If service has a hell of its own, you've found it here. The fact that such a place is rated very well suggests that standards in Spain are extraordinarily low. Probably they are also paying for positive reviews. Just look at the number of reviews where the account only wrote one single review at all. This isn't el rey de los tacos, it's el vago...

horrible service. we ordered the 2 for 1 marg deal which our server agreed to, but at the end she charged us separately for each of the margs because the deal was per person. so we paid and asked her if we could each get another one since we had already pay for the deal for each of us. she ended up not bringing it and we had to ask a different waiter. when we got up to leave, she approached us outside and proceeded to charge us for another drink, claiming that we ordered after we closed the tab so they couldn’t apply the deal. we had to dispute this with other staff and she continued saying that we didn’t understand. in the end, they came to the conclusion that for the deal to apply we needed to write them a review. hence, this review i’m writing. this was a waste of my time and ruined my mood. never...
