Honestly, no idea what’s all this hype about and where all those 5 stars and exciting comments about the “delicious” food come from. Well first. There is no reception at the entrance, nobody meets you and you’re just swaying around wondering wether your should take a sit wherever you want, or you need to wait for a waiter to indicate your table, should you wait for a menu or go scan the qr from a table of your neighbor, should you wait for a waiter to take your order or is it ordered at the counter…? I mean… service and client attention zero. Second. Ambience. Besides the fake flowers (which look nice) and plates nothing more. No music. At all. It’s like the place doesn’t have a soul or a character. And since the restaurant is on the Main Street in the center of the city and it doesn’t have actual doors and it it’s half open air it feel like your sitting in the middle of the highway. No music, and you just sit and look at other people eating in confusion. AIR CONDITIONER IS OUT OF SERVICE. If you’re coming in summer get ready to be sweaty all the way from the early morning. And you’ll be lucky if you get a table close to the only one portable fan for the whole place.
Food. I put two stars only because I liked cold fresh orange juice, WHICH WAS SO MUCH NEEDED GIVEN THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE, and a really fresh and tasty croissant. We ordered brunch from a menu and it was nothing special, too much salt .. no, seriously, when I say too much salt it means you don’t feel the taste of the actual food, you taste SALT. Only one waiter working, which makes the service very slow.
Was very excited to experience this place reading all those review and comments, but seriously guys, don’t waste neither your...
Read moreWe either picked the wrong day or this place is heavily overrated. We waited forever and the staff seemed to not care. They would serve the drinks together with the food after nearly an hour, although they could’ve brought them earlier. The place was not packed at all, it was 2pm. It was a hot day and we were thirsty, so we would have really appreciated having a cool drink before the food arrives... it’s very unusual to not serve the drinks at a timely manner, especially if the food takes so long. When the food finally arrived we did not have cutlery and they would only serve 3 meals although we were 4 people. My dad finished his (nearly cold and very unpleasantly garnished pumpkin soup) and I was still without food. I then spotted my dish on the counter and just decided to go get it by myself since the staff somehow did not see it. Tables nearby from previous customers were left untidy and with dirty dishes for the whole time of our visit. We wanted to grab a quick healthy lunch before getting ready for a wedding, but we left very disappointed. This was NOT...
Read moreIf you enjoy eating on the sun, long walks in the Sahara, or sitting in front of your hair dryer…. then the temperature inside this restaurant will make you feel right home. Perhaps you fancy a float in the Dead Sea ? Then you’re in luck there’s enough salt in their dishes to make you float for an entire week.
I feel bad for the one waitress it’s not her fault but they need more staff this place could be great, she needs some help, air conditioning! Like seriously who ever the owner is don’t subject your employees to this torture it’s not ok period, pay to get your air fixed. And...
