One of the worst steaks that I have ever tried. I have had Asado in over 6 countries and general steak in over 20 countries. This is one of the worst steaks that I have had, and does not even rank as asado as its grilled. The empanadas were nothing special but not bad. The side of fries were terrible bottom of the bag little pieces reheated. Ordered medium and received rare/blue. Steak was tough as a rock and fat not rendered. The cheap made in China knives (no tramontina) cutlery didnât help. The atmosphere of the place is a take away shop that charges restaurant prices. Cheap tables and chairs with disposable paper placemats that had a piece of steak on it from previous customers. Absolutely no idea how this place has 4.7 on Google, either buying reviews or steak in Madrid is at a very low quality overall?
Edit in response to the owner: I have updated my review to include photos showing that we have had the displeasure of visiting your poor takeaway shop. Unfortunately I had only taken photos of the empanadas and beer as the steak was not worth taking a photo of. And yes I did leave a positive review for MU! El Placer de la Carne as we ate there the following day and it was excellent! I highly recommend that place to anyone reading this review. From stalking my reviews you will also notice that I also left positive reviews for La Choripaneria and Morfi Empanadas, other great establishments serving authentic Argentinian cuisine in Madrid that I would also recommend to others, unlike your poor excuse for a restaurant let alone an âArgentinianâ steak house. Also just to note that I am a tourist from Australia and have no connection to any of...
Read moreI donât normally write bad reviews but this deserves one⊠We went for dinner wanting to get a nice barbecue for my birthday and it was such an awkward experience. First, we ordered the ChuletĂłn medium and got it pretty much blue, not one piece but all of them, not even the fat from the meat was melted. Second, there was no music so you could hear the staff yelling at each other. Most of the crowd were English speakers so probably didnât know what was going on but I also speak Spanish and could hear everything the cook and the waitress were talking or yelling about. From order mistakes to âwe are not a liquor storeâ comment from the cook when a table asked for ice, or âtell them to chew the meat wellâ because it was undercooked (so not only us got it undercooked) and so on, making everyone feel quite uncomfortable. Third, we got charged for 2 pieces of bread they put on the table. We didnât ordered it and thought it came on the house, but was a very disappointing after the terrible evening when we got the bill, itâs only 3 euros but itâs not right to charge for something you didnât order and the response was âyou ate it, so you payâ. We paid for it all but we are never coming back, specially after hearing how they refer to their customers so disrespectfully. Wouldnât be surprised if they drop something and put it back on your plate. You are a shame for Argentinian barbecues!!!!!! If you read this far please make yourself a favour and...

Dining at Pampa Beef in the heart of Madrid was an extraordinary experience that my wife and I will cherish. The warm ambiance welcomed us, setting the mood for a truly exceptional meal.
We started off with different appetizers to savor the range of flavors Pampa Beef offers. I chose the Empanadas, which had a crisp exterior and a deliciously savory filling. My wife opted for the Chorizo, a dish that was rich and full of flavor, embodying the essence of Argentinian cuisine.
The centerpiece of our meal was the Argentinian Ribeye, which we both selected as part of the superb âŹ26.9 meal deal that also included an entrĂ©e, sides, and a glass of red wine. The ribeye was cooked to perfectionâtender, succulent, and incredibly flavorful.
What truly sealed the deal was the dessert: hot chocolate and vanilla ice cream. This combination was the perfect ending to a perfect meal, with the richness of the hot chocolate beautifully contrasting with the smooth, cooling vanilla ice cream.
The accompanying glass of red wine was chosen with care, adding a final layer of complexity and delight to our dinner.
The attentive and gracious service made us feel more like honored guests than mere customers, rounding out what was a flawless experience.
Pampa Beef is a culinary gem that is not to be missed when in Madrid. We eagerly anticipate...
