The beauty of simplicity. Probably the best smash burger in Madrid and in the world, for that matter. Two patties of Fresh, ultra smashed (supposedly aged) beef (almost crispy) in a perfect bun that won’t get wet or break, two slices of American cheese, chopped onion, ketchup, mustard and ONLY 4 thin pickles (I should deduct half a Star for this but I won’t because the burger is amazing),. Thankfully, no “secret” or “special” or “magical” mayonnaise based sauces that would make the sandwich heavy and drippy. You get a compact, perfect, really perfect burger. It costs 9 euros. (They only have one kind of burger in the menu, although they do have a “secret” one that replaces grilled obliga for the chopped ones. The fries are also excellent, especially with paprika. They are stingy with the extra ketchup (which, for a €9 euro burger should not be the case) and will charge you extra for any extra pickles (they should use at least 6). The staff were very friendly and patient with our language barrier (English not Spanish). The food came out very fast. 10/10 we’re going again before we leave Madrid!
