I'll start with the fact that I can't put more than two stars. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not very good. They put us down there it 's like in a small box , all the tables are close to each other and very small. The chefs are terrible. We ordered Gyoza Toro and Gyoza marisco both were cold .(what I said to the waiter, she said they shoud be hot ) , but to us they bring cold , next dishes Bao Eby also were cold . Next they brought to us sushi and rolls. The rice wasn't sticky, it was just falling (You can see in the photo how bad they did this sushi). If the chefs can 't cook rice , and the gyozas are given cold .. they shouldn't work in the kitchen .The service was very slow, the first dishes they bringef to us almost after 1 hour .And after 30 minutes we had to pay the bill , because the table reserve is only 1 hour and 30 minute…. So because of bad service we needed to eat all food in 30 min .I do not recommend this place and we will never come back

This was one of our favourite meals in Madrid. There was a great range of cold and hot dishes to choose from. We started with the mixed sashimi platter - delicious and fresh, a mix of salmon, tuna, scallop and butterfish. Next came the highly recommended "taco" with salmon, smoked eel and black garlic. The taco shell itself seemed to be a crisp rice cracker, and it was a great textural contrast to the soft salmon. The pumpkin and pork curry croquetas were fantastic, crunchy and tasty with a touch of sweetness from the pumpkin. We picked a few nigiris - a tuna, a smoked sardine with roasted peppers, and a triumphant salmon with lime, caramelised sugar and kimchee sauce. We rounded off with some half-rolls - the Obama, with prawn tempura, salmon and ricotta, and the Tempura, with smoked eel. Being able to buy the half-rolls was a great way to try a variety, since they were really good value, and filling. Overall, a phenomenal meal in a lovely atmosphere.

This is one of those meals I’m still thinking about. I think it’s made it up into my Top 5 dining experiences; and not because it’s super fancy or anything like that, it’s more like stylish casual dining in a trendy area done superbly well and with great service. It’s Japanese with a Spanish influence and every bite was better than the last. The sashimi was delicate, melt in your mouth fresh and delicious. The salmon taco with black garlic was incredible and DO NOT miss the salmon nigiri with lime and caramelised sugar, it might be one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is in a very cool area for post dinner drinks. Although I would have happily spent my whole evening in Sr. Ito, because their drinks and wine list was also fab and the vibes were on point. We had dinner here on the last night of our vacation, and it was the perfect closer. Make sure this place is on your list if you’re in Madrid.

We had high hopes coming here after seeing the photos on TripAdvisor. It was my birthday dinner, and the experience started off well, with us joking and sharing laughs with the owner, who was welcoming and fun. The seaweed salad and edamame Sr.Ito had a nice flavor but was excessively salty. The gyozas were average and nothing special. We ordered a bunch of nigiri, and the rice was room temperature and not the correct temperature (body temperature). None of it had wasabi applied.

We then ordered the matcha and chocolate cake and carrot cake for dessert along with some hot teas. Our waiter set down our teas, which were in glass cups, and one of the cups broke and spilled hot tea all over my leg, causing burning pain! He cleaned the spill on the floor with napkins, but then proceeded to place those dirty, soaked napkins on our table! He apologized profusely and applied toothpaste to my leg to help with the burn. When I returned to the table, the desserts had been sitting out with the ice cream melting. He didn't offer new scoops of ice cream. The carrot cake was too sweet. We each had one bite and didn't touch it again. The matcha cake was good but also on the sweet side.

At this point, we were willing to overlook what occurred, because accidents happen, but the waiter added insult to injury when he gave us the bill and said "everything was ok." Everything was NOT ok. We did not enjoy our dinner, and I left with a burn. The owner avoided us and never came to apologize. He sat at another diner's table next to us chatting with them and would glance over but never approached us after the accident, nor did he offer to compensate by comping the bill or even a portion of it. In the states where we are from, that's how it would've been handled. My godmother voiced her displeasure, to which the waiter repeatedly said it's not his fault and that there was nothing he could do personally. That's not the point. He may not have been able to do something, but the BUSINESS can, and failed to. The waiter finally offered to comp one of the desserts, as if that would make us happy. We don't care about 5€; they can keep it. It's just really bad business how the situation was handled, and we will...

¿no?.
