My sister and I came to the restaurant around 9:30pm on Saturday evening without a reservation. We were greeted by a blonde lady, perhaps in her fifties, and politely asked if there might be a table for two. Right away her manner felt dismissive—she looked us up and down and told us they needed to “attend to their actual customers” - as though we are not customers - asking us to step aside.
We simply asked how long the wait might be, but instead of giving us an answer she began “shushing” us and telling us to calm down, even though we had spoken politely the entire time. She then insisted we move out of the way, in a tone that felt unnecessarily abrupt.
I fully understand that walking in without a reservation means there may not be a table available. What was disappointing wasn’t the refusal, but the way we were treated. Having lived in Marbella for 30 years, grown up visiting this restaurant, and being part of the hospitality community myself, I have never experienced such dismissive service in any establishment here.
It wasn’t about the table—it was about the lack of basic courtesy and respect, which made the whole interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. Sadly after being a long standing ongoing customer - who lives here all year round - and brings many clients to the establishment - we won’t be...
Read moreTo start with, I’m giving this review with all respect. I’m not coming again to the restaurant but I would say the following: You need to change or train the host and some waiters on how to talk and deal with guests on the phone and in person. Food and beverages where good but the price doesn’t match at all! It costs around 60/80 euros or more depending on what you order for one person to have dinner in this place and you expect top service and quality. One of the waiters (a lady) was very rude since the start when I was reserving on the phone. Secondly, once we arrived there was no ventilation until the end of the evening when we requested to open it several times with them ignoring. Thirdly, the way that the waiter ( a blonde lady) was trying to over sell us things while making us uncomfortable was not nice at all. Fourthly we ordered a drink to share and they got us another one after it was done without even asking us if we wanted or not which we didn’t want. Finally, we where 5 people paid over 400 euros and when the same waiter gave us the bill and I complained about why they charged us for 2 sangrias she got mad and she went away as if we are in a cheap fast food chain. To conclude, good food and drinks but very poor and disrespectful service. This is my last time to be going to this...
Read moreThe location is undeniably beautiful, right by the port. I walked in without a reservation as I wasn’t sure if they had suitable halal options. When the waiter asked if I had a booking and I said no, he sighed in annoyance and pointed to a table rather dismissively.
While placing the order, the waitress was somewhat helpful, but when I asked about the pizza section, she replied, “This is a fine dining restaurant, we don’t serve pizza here,” despite the fact that the same restaurant in my home country has a dedicated pizza section and is equally upscale.
We ordered the Caesar salad, truffle fettuccine, and garlic king prawns. The food was tasty, but the portion sizes didn’t quite match the price point — 40€ for a pasta dish felt quite steep and not worth the value. Additionally, a bread and butter appetizer was brought to the table without request, but later appeared on the bill, which felt a bit presumptuous.
Overall, the service was slow and the staff came across as arrogant. I wouldn’t recommend it for those looking for a warm, welcoming dining experience — regardless...
