When it comes to Irish bars, there’s no better around the port of Marbella!

You walk up and the staff are so friendly. From Steve the bouncer who is super friendly but makes you feel safe on your night out, to Aaron who pours the best Guinness on the port, to Ellie who is so attentive to people all the way to the boss Reuben, who is by far the best boss I’ve ever met when it comes to customer service.

If you are lucky you will run into Inga who is the friendliest shot girl I’ve met. She doesn’t shove the shots down your throat she has a conversation with you, very friendly presence and makes you feel at home and that’s the key reason you will buy a shot from her. She’s not there for money, she’s there to make sure you are having fun.

So, used to be a nice spot. They are now out to get as much money as possible... You will note no prices on drinks menu so they can charge whatever.

No atmosphere at 11pm (only 3 others in the bar), for a beer and a cocktail we got charged €30, the Astral bar which has atmosphere and better drinks great views was only €20.. wow... Zero reason to justify the higher price other than they need to cover their costs due to lack of customers.

Also bar was empty, we paid and they still ran after us claiming we hadn't paid, luckily I had paid on my phone so had the proof.

They are friendly on the surface and happy to give out free drinks but it is all a ruse. Phone was stolen from a member of our family and the bar maid made it clear she was involved to goad everyone. Once we got up find my phone where it was shown being moved around the bar and we threatened calling the police, they suddenly and amazingly found it, also in the hours we were looking it had been turned off. Do not risk it and we have reported them and have footage to back our claims. Bar...
