We had the choice of having a quick pre dinner drink in Salduba or in Sinatra's. Sinatra's was absolutely rammed so we went here as it was empty. Then we found out why! We had to move tables and chairs to accommodate our party of 8 whilst the waiters looked on. Very limited drinks menu. Very rude and incompetent waiters. Part of our order was 2 Pina Coladas. 1 non alcoholic and 1 regular. We could not have stressed this enough as one of our party could not drink. When the drinks turned up they got them the wrong way round. We complained, they argued, to the point where both waiters tried both drinks and came up with different results. At this point we asked for the bill and told them that we were not paying for either pina colada as by this time the bar staff had drunk more of them than we had. More arguments, eventually the barman wrote a number on the bill that excluded the 2 drinks but this was just a ruse as one of the waiters came back with 3 policemen. I tried to explain to the police what had happened but it turned out that they didn't speak a word of English, apart from "you have to pay the whole bill or we will arrest you" and "you are not allowed to video us and must delete the video that you just took" which they seemed to know fluently! We paid, left and continued our evening elsewhere having learnt a very valuable lesson. If one bar is heaving and the one next door is empty there is usually a very good...
Read moreTerrible service. When we asked to pay the bill, they charged us almost 25% more than the prices listed on the menu. We chose not to argue as it would have taken too much time, so we knowingly accepted to pay more than what was shown. For one Aperol Spritz and one small beer, they charged 26 euros.
As if that was not enough, they also refused to give a receipt. I had to ask three times, and only then, with visible annoyance, they handed me a random receipt from a stack near the register. When I pointed out the difference in price and said I wanted a proper receipt showing what I had paid, they again reacted with frustration, rejected to print the correct one. They also told me not to come back again simply because I insisted on having my receipt and invoice.
In the end, they said the total was 26 euros and gave me a receipt showing 24 euros, which I have uploaded as a photo. This is clearly tax fraud and a scam. They charge more than the menu prices, avoid issuing correct receipts, and treat customers with disrespect.
As mentioned in many other reviews, the service is awful, hygiene is nonexistent, and the place is overall disgusting. Establishments like this should be shut down. If you ever come across this place, avoid it. You will only leave...
Read moreWe arrived to 8 people arguing with the owner at that point we should have left. Ordered chicken salad + 1 x Cava + 1 x beer. Five minutes later told no chicken so were presented with a stale salad and the drinks. We then heard the angry people behind objecting to the service and prices again. This prompted me to check the menu prices to note Cava was 15 euros and beer 9 euros. Salad was poor at best. Average posh establishment prices at maybe 6 euros for a beer and 8 euros for a Cava. This is anything but a posh establishment. Bill arrived at 32 euros which is fine but not when the food was stale. Toilet had no loo roll and no soap. Very tired establishment. The beer belly man, who I assumed to be the owner came over with the card machine and gave me a hard time about not leaving a tip. Love Marbella ❤️ and the whole area but a crying shame this place exists. Great location to boat watch but needs taking over by someone without attitude and knows what they are doing. Such a shame. All other bars were busy this place was empty so maybe the overweight owner might wake up and smell the...
