We’ve eaten here on several occasions whilst in Santa Catalina and can honestly say that we’ve never had a bad plate of food or a poor experience. The atmosphere they create at the tables outside on the pedestrianised road area is wonderful, with soft lights around some of the tables and small led lights on most if not all of the tables. We were there in Sept, May and also there in February this year. As the temperature dipped in Feb, we were provided with blankets for our legs which was a lovely touch so you could enjoy the food and the ambiance at your pace, along with portable patio heaters too. You’re never rushed to vacate your table as is the case in some restaurants. Prices are also reasonable for this type of restaurant with good sized portions. It must be popular, as in the peak season you’ll need to reserve a table beforehand unless you’re lucky enough to get a table on a walk in, although many were prepared to wait their turn for this. Whilst we were dining there a few weeks ago in Sept, there were two parties of 20 people plus, which shows their capabilities of handling large numbers of diners without affecting other smaller tables - well done!!
Muchas gracias por una experiencia maravillosa, nos vemos de nuevo cuando estemos en...
Read moreI had a bad experience there. I went there solo, I get a table and after 15 min they ask me to change the table and that I will get a dessert on the house (ok, thats nice) but when I finish my dish, and went to toillet, my table was cleaned and nobody came to me for the next 30min. I needed to o wave to waiter to get his attention. And first thing what I heard was "do You want to pay?".... Thats because they need a table for big line of waiting guests, so probably the one person like me was not important for them.
Even when I tryied to get salt and pepper I had problem to get any attention from service.
Horrible organized, instead to have one waiter for section, You see all of them running around and You are served by four different. At the end the dessest was on my bill.
I'm giving 2 stars because food was really good.
I was planning to come back here with my boyfriend, but after this treatment...I will say pass
Ps. Italian restaurant without coffee. ( or maybe waiter told me this to get rid...
Read moreWent to this restaurant on June 17th. The waiter was extremely grumpy and did not smile once while we were there. I ordered the ravioli, 10 minutes after we ordered they said they were out of ravioli. We were there early so people sat only on a few tables. I found my self something else to order but was not particularly happy with it. I noticed that the tables around us all got a bruschetta on their table so we asked our waiter what it was cause we didn't see it on the menu. He then said it was complementary, then we asked why we didn't get any and he just said "we are out". No apologies, nothing, and offered us nothing else instead. We then saw when we were leaving that they were serving those bruschettas again. My carbonara was heavely salty almost to the point where it was impossible to eat. But the other dishes were good. Our experince could have been alot better if we had just gotten a different waiter. But unfortunately we got the grumpy on and that had a huge impact on...
