La Bottega di Michele — Restaurant in Palma

Absolutely unprofessional service and etiquette! We were reserved table for 6 people plus 2 kids for Saturday night. The waiter responsible for our table was a lady who had absolutely non sense why she is there.It took about 45 minutes before someone take our order.First came the main courses and in 1 hour and 20 minutes came the starters after we asked at least 5 times ,why we have no starters and why the main came first. As extra half of the table took their food first and for example me and my wife took our salads in 45 minutes after the rest. The order also was complete mess.They mixed up the paella with vegetarian instead sea food, it took to the waiter about 30 minutes to bring us slices of lemons,some of the dishes with food was also wrong,few drinks did not come out as wine and whiskey. They served us cold water in very hot glasses as well. After we finished with the food there was about 30 minutes no-one was taking the dishes from the table.Even after we complained 3 times about the service and everything ,nothing got changed.So just the night was ruined! Please don't destroy your night out there ,because are many others nice places around!Never again;(! I don't know how people leaving such a nice comments about this place as we live in Mallorca long time and this is probably the most ridiculous...

After having a big craving for Italian food, this place looked great. I arrived while things were pretty quiet and told the server I was hoping to be there for a while, slowly ordering a few things at a time and having a bottle of wine. With the wine came some olives, spicy salami and bread. The bottle of wine was really great! I started with the classic Beef Carpaccio that was really tasty and well seasoned. I then decided on the warm Gorgonzola, Walnut and Asparagus Salad, this was a bit disappointing, but I think I just expected something different. I found it had too many greens and very little of the gorgonzola, asparagus, and walnuts and a whole lot of warm cream. Unfortunately, there was no photo of this one. I then ordered the Pappardelle alla Sophia Loren, which was a truffle cream, prawns, and mushrooms. This is what one of the servers had recommended. This was super delicious and the highlight of the bunch. Lots of flavor and well executed! I’m so happy we found this cute restaurant walking around Palma. My mum spotted this busy street and we decided to go for a look and we could smell the wonderful aroma of truffle coming from this beautiful authentic restaurant. The service was perfect and the staff were so friendly and lovely, we even came back the second night. Ask the staff anything and they will all advise you happily.
