L'Artista Pizzeria Napoletana — Restaurant in Palma

I was so looking forward to a meal here, queued for a seat as it was busy, so thought this was a good sign. Waiter was abrupt, took our order saying “tell me “ feeling very rushed . My lasagne was horrific, cold and looked like a pile of mush… no tomato ragu in it just dried mince and too much melted cheese, no béchamel sauce at all . Sent it back to be heated up as I thought maybe it will taste nice . When it came back it looked like someone had just slapped their hand on it and squashed it down even further .. A sticky pile of mushed pasta was served to me. It was meant to come with garlic bread .. I asked for it but the waitress didn’t understand me apparently as she did not understand English “ garlic bread “ … funnily enough the local family sitting next to me had a beautiful plate of lasagne with garlic bread which looked drastically different to mine . Absolutely gutted as I was starving . my friends bolognese pizza was ok, she had loads of tomato slop to share on my bone dry lasagne so I mushed it altogether to make it palatable . Maybe I should have complained but I’m so sick of moaning about the food on this holiday and it being my last meal I just ate like it was the last supper . No one came and asked if all was ok, no service, just in and out .. money...

Really, I say it seriously: THIS IS THE BEST PIZZA THAT YOU ARE GOING TO EAT IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. The whole menu leaves you mesmerized without you really wanting to make a choice because it's so difficult!! They have so good and delicious looking pizzas, burgers, etc etc and creative inventions, that it's difficult to choose. Well, my friend and me finally decided to go for pizza and got us the Modigliani pizza and the Vittorio Gassman one. Both delicious and very big. Thanks to it we had dinner and breakfast. We payed 36€ for both pizzas + 2 bottles of water. The weitress was specially friendly, kind, sweet and I appreciate that a lot. We spoke to various weitress there and all super friendly and the work atmosphere that they have between them is very good too and you can really see it. One of the waitresses was extremely impolite when we arrived. We wanted to choose one of the many empty tables. She came and greeted us. We also greeted her, which she apparently did not hear. Thereupon she reacted with an attitude and then went on and talked bad about us to her colleague in Spanish (she thought that we don’t understand her). My boyfriend even reacted to this and told them respectfully and reserved that we said hi. She didn’t respond to this and just went on with laughing and talking about us with her colleague.
