NOIA cafe — Restaurant in Palma

I love Noia! It is for sure one of the best coffee/ matcha shops in Mallorca. I have been there a few times and I’m always excited to try new things on their menu.

However, today I experienced something really unfair from my perspective and it’s that one of the employees (with all respect) asked if he would be able to drink a coffee. His coworker replied (also in a super nice and polite way) that they are actually not allowed to get coffee from the shop (not even one a day)… He completely understood the situation without complaining and said to his coworker that he will bring his coffee from home tomorrow 🥺. Even they were super nice to each other, I don’t understand why as an employee from a coffee shop you are not allowed to drink ONE coffee. I could understand that as a business owner you have a lot of expenses, but I think this will not represent such a huge cost

A lovely, clean, fresh cafe! The team were attentive, friendly, considerate, accommodating and in particular, the gentleman was passionate about their food and drink and the quality of ingredients, which was touching. We were only in the area for 4 days but visited twice for breakfast. When the road cleaner was out front they closed the glass doors to stop dust coming in, the WiFi worked fine, the small space was cleverly furnished to accommodate guests with tuck under tables, the toilet was the best of any bar, restaurant or cafe we visited whilst in the area. Small little cozy cafe in Cala major. The decor is SUPER fresh and feels very niche and clean. You can tell that there is a lot of effort put behind the product, not only produce but the actual experience.

Coffee is stunning here, absolutely awesome and reasonable price. The mango and passion fruit lemonade is really nice and refreshing and the brownie is also really nice, awesome with a touch of sea salt and pretty light on the sugar, something I enjoy.

I did not have any matcha products but this was truly a matcha haven which will be my goal for the next visit, everything from matcha brownies, cookies and matcha tea’s.
