We went on a date night here and our experience was nice but left wanting.
The ambience and lighting is lovely and the waitresses were attentative and nice.
We had 4 dishes;
Banh Mi This seasonal menu was delicious. The bread was soft and airy, the pork was crunchy and flavourful, the pickles added just the right tang. 10/10
Shio Ramen Firstly, I was dissapointed as the noodles were not ramen, they were somen. This created expectations that werent met - I like somen, but its not what I ordered. However, the calamari was delicious and the broth was excellent. 7/10
Lubina Cantonese Oof. About 5 thin slices of fish on a bed of potato puree. The dish is called “Lubina”, so I expected more fish. For me, the potato mash doesnt go well with this dish. The delicate texture of the fish was lost. Needed some sort of crunch or other texture. Would have preffered rice. 4/10
Rabo del Buey This was soooo salty. I almost sent it back, and wish I had. The saltiness overpowered everything, sorry - I did not enjoy this. I liked the idea of Japanese curry with Rabo del Buey, but it was so salty the curry flavour was lost. 3/10

Read moreThis place is clearly run by kitchen and front of house staff who deeply care about what they do. Unfortunately this did not translate to our experience. The restaurant was very warm and it took us over an 30mins to be given menus and another 30 mins to get our first plate of food. They were clearly understaffed as it took a while to get any attention from a waiter.
The food was ambitious but, on the whole, misconceived. Wonderful, high quality ingredients were used in unique and bizarre combinations that left us asking many questions. Why is the high quality raw fish slathered in overly sweet soy sauce and served with crackers? Why is my sashimi warm? Why has this torched sea bass fillet been served on warm mashed potato? Why am I being served crisps and raw egg yolk with my pork? Why are the dishes arriving so that I am eating tuna tartare alongside an oxtail stew?
I hope that our experience was an unusually bad night for the team because, once we had their attention, they were all knowledgable and friendly. Much of the dishes were rooted in good fusion ideas, but ended having too much going on and...
Read moreNice atmosphere in a cozy small restaurant. The overall experience was a mix. Very nice service at the beginning but awfully slow at the end. It took 45 minutes to order the dessert, the bill and payment. Just because the staff seems not very organised. On the positive side, the food was excellent. Bear in mind portions are not very big and the concept is more about sharing plates as they arrive. The menu is very eclectic and includes Asian and Spanish dishes. You can choose between two options: a la carte or tasting menu. We weren't very hungry and the waiter wasn't able to explain very well the dishes included in the tasting menu, that's why we opted for a la carte choice. Very mixed feelings but overall I would recommend the place because the...
