The2 Palma Gay Bar — Restaurant in Palma

I had a very concerning experience at The2 Palma Gay Bar. While waiting in line for the bathroom, someone cut in front of me. When I knocked to mention the queue, the person came out, yelling, “Can you not see I’m the f DJ?”. He then hit me on the shoulder and arm several times and called me the c word, before returning to the DJ booth. Being physically attacked by staff in what should be a safe environment was shocking and unacceptable. I hope management addresses this incident immediately. I’d suggest avoiding this place at all costs

Edit (01/09/02024) to respond to the owner’s answer to my review: As you can imagine I was too shaken up and traumatised by what happened to approach the manager. I felt unsafe and left immediately. Getting physically attacked was deeply distressing, and frankly, you’re fortunate I didn’t involve the police or make a compensation claim. Your dismissive response only adds to my disappointment and further reflects that you are not taking assault incidents seriously at your establishment. A normal business would apologise for something like this rather than gaslight...

No offence I don’t want to be mean but that club is the most boring gay club ever maybe in Europe, first of all security guards are making you so uncomfortable at the door with saying shush on the street cuz everyone is sleeping lol and you pay 10€ for entrance one free drink which is good but when u get inside you see the place is really tight and you literally can’t move. And the Music; dj literally put music on from Spotify and the volume is so low you can barely hear it and you can hear your voice while you talk to your friends, it’s just because it’s in a quite street and everyone is sleeping lol why you put a Night Club on the name it you gonna shush people? Like it’s the night out and it’s meant to banging but definitely so boring. It’s so pity that Palma has only that club calls gay club dunno where else, if the most “famous” one is that boring I don’t even wanna think about the rest, anyway I didn’t want to be mean but that’s the fact and my experience. My reviews suggest nothing but independent-mindedness, so believe me that this place is the pits. Sure, it's the days of the Covid-19, but the way that the club enforced the rules was horrendous. Don't trust anywhere where the welcome is staff gruffly pointing a temperature gun at you. You are then welcomed in to a 1970s drag stage from which no Lulu La Cheap ever emerges. Walk in, sit down, don't move. We were sufficiently sapped of the will to live after five minutes that we had barely enough energy to lift the cover-charge scrap of paper that would vouchsafe us an overpriced and underpoured gin and tonic. Any attempt to stand up or (heaven forfend!) move in accordance to percussive beats is trampled on with roughly Auschwitz-level efficiency.
