Ventuno Bar Italiano — Restaurant in Palma

I’m never going back to this bar, I’ve been a few times. It has a good atmosphere, food is good and nice cocktails. Last night I stopped by with a pal, the bar was busy but not full. We asked if they had a table, and were shown the free table in the corner… at the point where we were deciding whether to have another cocktail or not David told us we had to get off the table because he needed it. There was no grace, no people skills, basically time’s up boys, move. I don’t have a problem with the table being reserved, he could have let us know when we sat down, but he didn’t. There was nothing on the table to say it was reserved like most bars do here. This is a bar I’ve been to a few times, I live here and am a new local. David did a very similar thing to a friend of mine last week who has spent a lot of money there, he will also never go back. Asking people to move is always a bit tricky, but the clue is there… you ask them, you don’t tell them… I need the table you can sit at the bar. It felt like 4 people came in asked for a table, you thought I’ll throw those two off that table and put them there.. As I said - never going back, there are better bars with better bar staff… raise...

BEST BAR in Palma! We had the most fantastic time in the bar, Alex and the team are brilliant - the most attentive, genuine and fun service. The cocktail making is brilliant, no pre-made anything, just pure talented, proper cocktails (definitely try the negroni and margarita). We will absolutely be back and have already told family who are going in a few weeks. If you need a bar to go to, go to Ventuno - you won't regret...
