Overall, I would give the dining experience an A-. We were very warmly greeted by a gentleman at the front door, who quickly sat us, even though we were early for our reservation. Unfortunately, that’s where the warmth ended. After sitting at our table for about five minutes, a waiter came to the table and bluntly asked, “what do you want to order?”There was no conversation. No discussion about recommendations on the menu, no greeting, and no smile from the waiter. Overall very cold and lackluster. We placed our order and our plates started coming out in a timely fashion however, they were just sat on the table without any explanation, nor did the waiter return at all during any course of our meal to ask how things were tasting or if we needed anything. To speak for the food, the pork chicharonnes were good however not mind blowing. I would describe them more as a mini pork egg roll. The selection of ceviches was phenomenal. Each one had a different and unique taste, and the fish was incredibly fresh. Our entrées consisted of the bluefin tuna, which was out of this world, and the seafood rice, which was also delicious as well, but a little smoky in flavor for my liking. My husband, however, did like it, and the seafood portion was generous. All in all, if a dining experience was based solely off of food, this restaurant would be amazing. However service can really make or break a dining experience and in this case, the service definitely overshadowed some aspects...
Read moreIt was our wedding night with a 10:30 reservation. When we arrived and sat at our table the Server told us the kitchen was closing in few min and then walked away. Leaving the entire wedding party confused at why they would have the option of a 10:30 reservation??? The restaurant ended up allowing us to order but told us we had 5 mins to do so. I'm thinking.... This restraunt was just awarded a Michelin star somehow????? The Food- My newly Wed and I our ecological organic farmers; we expect a Michelin star Peruvian restaurant to provide explosive flavor profiles with profound freshness. This was not the case. There were good dishes but nothing that blew minds. I hope Chef Irene gets the opportunity to visit Sarasots, Florida sometime to explore Chef Darwins Santa Maria's Peruvian jungle cuisine, to taste the flavors at his incredible location - Amazonica!
Being our wedding night I truly wish It was a different experience but it wasn't. If your celebrating a special night it may be best to...
Read morePretty bad service.
They have a service button and that’s basically all they respond too. It was pretty expensive but the kitchen was amazing👊🏻.
The service needs to be better and they need to be more attentive. They shouldn’t be resetting tables they should be dealing with their current customers.
We sat down at 9pm and had starters and main and left at 11.10pm so if you like long dinners it’s not a problem.
Sorry I loved the food a lot and the wine was great. I just felt ignored by the staff members unless I pressed a stupid button.
For a high end restaurant I’m disappointed. Also give us back menus and don’t make us use a QR code.
Final thing... don’t cut your scallops in half and make them so skinny. Oops also the potato stew baked was basically deep friend mash potato and has to much olive in it, it tasted like a perfume.
But scallops amazing, crunchy shrimp awesome, pork tacos...
