Café Mimi — Restaurant in Puerto de la Cruz

I've been there a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The first time I ordered a cake and a cocktail, and the second time I ordered yogurt with fruits. The cake was called "Fichi caramelati" (really delicious), and I would like to thank the chef😊. It would be nice to know the recipe.😇

Fichi caramelati Cloud: very tender, moderately sweet, moderately light, drizzled with milk chocolate. Cake: a shortbread base, then comes the cream, then the sponge cake and all this is covered with nuts glazed in jelly and pieces of fig.

Cosmopolitan It is served with lime and grapes. The taste is light, slightly sour, but there is a sweetness. Perfect for hot summer.🤩

The staff is very courteous and nice. Orders are processed quickly and the atmosphere is light and pleasant. And there are comfortable...

Very German orientated Café with homemade cakes. Had the apple cake with vanilla ice cream to share very tasty and two small coffees. Negative points. They allow smoking on the terrace, and if you're sandwiched between two smoking tables, it ruins your apple cake. Don't accept payment by credit cards, in this day and age, when very few people use cash very strange...

Also liebe Gosia, als langjährige Stammkunden möchten wir dem Cafe Mimi hier rückenstärkend zur Seite stehen. Denn die geschilderten Aussagen entsprechen so nicht der Wahrheit! Der O-Saft ist beispielsweise immer frisch gepresst, und der Kaffee ist als bekannter deutscher Filterkaffee ebenfalls erhältlich und ja es gibt Pulverkaffee jedoch als weitere Auswahlmöglichkeit zu Erstgenanntem! Die Vielzahl an frischen Kuchen und Torten, die obendrein oberlecker sind, sind im Gesamtarrangement einzigartig auf Teneriffa. Wir haben selbst bisher nur gutes gelesen oder gehört, neben unseren regelmäßigen Besuchen seit nunmehr fast 10 Jahren. Derartige Verleumdungskommentare, sind mit Verlaub grenzwertig. Wir wünschen ihnen viel mehr liebevolles Sein mit sich und anderen. Und können den anderen Menschen, die dies lesen das CAFE MIMI nur wärmstens emfehlen. Und noch ein Tip: auf Tripadvisor finden sie Rezensionen von internationalem Publikum, denn es kommen Gäste aus aller Welt, auch wenn das deutschsprachige Publikum den größten Anteil ausmacht.
