Ok, the drinks are big....
But the service and loos are awful. Don't expect anything remotely pleasant when you order. If you're English and you attempt to speak Spanish they react with contempt. However, the drinks are great.
These guys could not be the owners and i hope the owner reads this, works out who worked on Mon 29th July and perhaps discuss their pension contributions.
Oh the loos.... more urine on and around the loo than in it. Yuck.
Oh and the tapas looks like it is stored in plastic boxes handed out when you order Chinese takeout. They shove the food in the microwave and plop it on your plate.
The sausages we ordered were not chorizo but looked like road kill plasic sausage you'd find at an American football match. Where are we? New Jersey???
Check the photo out for their flat (steam rollered) bread.
After our plastic sausages and 2 cocktails a guy wearing a red t-shirt came in who was clearly mates with the 2 useless, rude waiters behind the bar. He picks up a straw, bites off a piece of paper and spit balls at them across the food (see picture). The 2 "workers" then fire spit balls back. This lasts another hour...we are waiting for a drink (no more food though) and watching them. The 3 of them watch us watching their spitball wars and just carry on....
Read moreThe food is good, and the prices are great, but... They have a live parrot in a cage as decoration! It's so sad!!! He doesn't have any greenery or toys and it's a pretty small cage. How can anyone support a restaurant that uses a live animal as part of the decor??? I asked and they said they take it up at night. So it's there the whole day? And you can't call the police because as long as it is given food or water, then it's not officially abuse. Well, I disagree. This is just incredibly sad. La comida es muy rica y los precios son buenos pero tienen un pobre perico como decoración. Es muy pero muy triste, una tragedia deverdad. No se puede apollar un lugar que trata animales asi. Todo el dia en una pequeña haula? Es...
Read moreWe went there for a drink and when we got our beverages noticed that there was a parrot in a small cage on the wall. The cage was clearly too small and there was music blasting. In my opinion using an animal to lure customers in, especially in such a way is unacceptable. It‘s also sad to see that a lot of people don‘t seem to see the problem there and think the parrot is enjoying the interactions with customers. I cannot imagine a bird in such a confined space in a loud and flashy environment is having a good time by customers teasing it. The bar, decor and service themselves would already be good enough to attract customers. There is no need for this type of...
