Read moreOpened August. Husband and wife team with super friendly staff. Delicious, homemade hearty German food, great salads and just delicious sauces - one sweet pepper and one mushroom. Mainly organic ingredients. Very good value too. We tried the schnitzel with sweet pepper sauce, fries (crispy and great as dippers for the sauces!) and a salad. Warm bread and couldn’t resist trying a homemade beef ‘patty’ with onions and herbs in - lovely with their sauces. We treated ourselves to a half bottle of an organic Italian red wine (9 Euro) and with 4 soft drinks and a tip - 35Euros! Provided with samples of their soups - yum. Omelettes and various grilled sausages are there for our next visit. A lovely lunch in simple surroundings - we’ll go there several...
