Brunch Milk Away — Restaurant in Seville

DONT BOTHER!! Visited here after it having a good overall rating and was very disappointed. It’s hard to find places with gluten and dairy free but it was not worth the wait. First we was told to wait outside (even though on the door it says to come in and wait) this took around 20 minutes or longer for a table. After being seated to a dirty table (it wasn’t wiped down after the last customers) we then wasn’t told how to place the order which was online so we was waiting around 15,20 minutes before I had to go to the desk and ask. Once we ordered it took around 30 minutes for 2 out of 4 drinks to arrive. Then another 15 minutes for some porridge. My mum was left with no drink or food for over an hour as her drink was the last to arrive after even the paninis had arrived (they told us just before it came out there was no brown bread left) this also happened with our bowl, we didn’t get the flavours we asked for and then once my bowl was brought out they told me there was no gluten free granola left. The actual food was nice not incredible but it would’ve been better if the place was run correctly. It was embarrassing and we was considering getting a refund and going elsewhere but some things had come and we had hope it wouldn’t be too long. We was there from 11:15 and didn’t leave until nearly 1 o clock. I wouldn’t return. There wasn’t enough staff and it was run very poorly. They sent around 30 people away in the time we was sat as there was a huge back up in the kitchen and dirty pots all over...

To be honest, I was really disappointed with my visit here. The reviews online were good, so we chose that place for breakfast.

For starters, we sat at an empty table, it was a little dirty after previous customers, and nobody offered to cleaned it. 😕

There was a good variety of dishes, and we were excited as everything sounded great, but the food was frankly quite mediocre. I’ve had a panino with avocado and mushrooms, and I got extra poached eggs with it. The shandwich was rather small, and the eggs were not that great. My boyfriend ordered the same, and his eggs were still raw, almost running. When he asked for a replacement, they just put the same eggs on the pan and fried them some more 😳 (we know they were the same eggs, as one egg had a slight yolk defect).

My friend ordered a Buddha bowl and it was completely bland and tasteless.

They describe themselves as a specialty caffe, yet no speciality coffee was available. The americano was not drinkable, it was so watered down yet weirdly too strong at the same time, just disgusting. Tasted like the cheapest coffee. The cappuccino was better, because the milk covered up the taste of the coffee itself.

We were also not satisfied with the service, the waitress came up to us twice with dishes intended for another table, in general there was a little bit of a mess with the orders.

For this price you can definitely eat a better and more filling breakfast in Seville. I wouldn’t really...

ONLY COME HERE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTHIE OR ACAI BOWL. Was my smoothie bowl nice - yes it was lovely however I was disappointed as they stared it would come with chia seeds and it didn't. That's an expensive superfood that I paid for and didn't recieve.. Everything else, TERRIBLE. The aesthetic of the place is horrible. Like a child's art centre. Mismatched chairs, staples and stains on the walls. It's loud and cold and unfriendly. Not a place I want to eat an acai bowl. I picture sun and bohemian aesthetic. My partners pancakes were atrocious, reheated (they were steaming!) and bad taste. They served mango on her pancakes which was rock hard and unripe. Coffee is average. Menu ordering system is really poor and you pay prior to getting the food which is always a red flag in my opinion. Service was unfriendly and the servers were messing up orders within the restuarant and it just appeared stressed and disorganised. I saw upset customers within the restuarant and other people's food, such as the panini looked really poor quality also. There's much better places in the Area...
