These tostadas are special! I ordered a simple media con tomate y aceite, and it was so delicious. My husband had an entera with jamón serrano y tomate and loved his too. He said the coffee was excellent, and I liked how the tea was served. Awesome place. We liked the outdoor tables. If sitting outside, you go up to the counter to order, then pick up your food, and then return at the end to pay. Update: we also tried the supertostadas with egg and guacamole - delicious! Tostadas are such a typical breakfast here and I do love a good tostada con tomate, but they can also be a flexible food open to creative new flavours, and this bar does this very well. I had a delicious tostada topped with many ingredients including egg and olives (I can't remember the rest) which was a great change from the usual. There were various interesting options to choose from aside from the normal toppings. The bar itself is small, with some tables outside. Paid €4.50 for an Americano, an anis, and a mega-tostada loaded with tuna and olives in a gorgeous, relaxed setting. Can't do better than that in this city, or indeed anywhere.

The environment is open and bright, the food is solid if not dazzling, and the ambience is pure Seville. If you sit outside during breakfast hours, you gotta get your food and drink from the bar yourself, no wait service. Totally acceptable price to pay for the...
