Terraza Restaurante Bu — Restaurant in Toledo

We made a reservation on Viernes Santo, believe it'd get very busy and we wouldn't be able to find a table, but arriving half an hour late to our reservation (blame the blocked roads), we discovered that there was only one full table at the restaurant so we were seated quite quickly.

The service was great, the servers were attentive, quick and efficient.

As for the food, we ordered the huevos rotos, a salad and the crispy chicken burger with a white wine as a drink. The food was pretty delicious and I was surprised at how large the chicken burger was, especially for the cheap price of 12€, and it was very delicious on top of that, although they were skimpy with the fries. As for the wine, it was a bit too bitter and it was 4€ for a glass, more than we've ever paid in Toledo for a glass of white wine.

The atmosphere was low-key, seeing as it was basically empty, and we sadly could not enjoy the views, seeing as it was nighttime and we were sat on the inside, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

Great view, terrible service. Unprofessional staff; appetizer arrived after main course, I found out that my main course they ran out of, as my wife got her main course. Trying to get someone to come to refill your wine glass is a challenge. However, the food was good and well prepared. Fish was grilled just right, deer sandwich was very good, grilled vegetables too, even kids' chicken was juicy.

Visited the second time few year later because the view is so nice. Worse experience than before - even worse service, same of before - started did not arrive, main course was wrong and waiter was pisses of at us and refused to try to communicate in English even though he did speak it a little and we tried as much Spanish as we could. Un giro inesperado en el destino nos hizo toparnos con este restaurante y no es quiera ponerme melodramático, pero así fue como conocimos esta genial terraza 😊👍

Nuestro objetivo era comer en un restaurante en el corral de Don diego. Nada más salir del parking del Alcazar nos encontramos de frente con esta terraza. Tenía muchísimo ambiente y al hacer un día de sol genial y al ser un poco tarde decidimos quedarnos aquí a comer, y fue una gran decisión.

LOCAL: Dentro del restaurante no había mucha gente y ni siquiera pasamos, así que no lo puedo valorar. La terraza me pareció una pasada. Muy amplia, bien atendida y con unas vistas espectaculares, por un lado al Alcázar y por el otro a la Academia infantería, el Tajo y el Valle. Una cosa que me gusta mucho es que dentro de la terraza había un par de ambientes, uno de gente comiendo y otro de gente tomando copas tranquilamente y disfrutando de la música de fondo y las vistas.

ATENCION: a pesar de estar hasta arriba, los camareros se movían con agilidad y soltura. Fueron muy agradables en el trato y muy eficientes en el servicio. Además no tardaron nada en sacarnos la comida que habíamos pedido. En este aspecto un sobresaliente.

COMIDA: la comida es un pequeño batiburrillo de entrantes de todo tipo, ensaladas, hamburguesas, tostas, carnes y pescados. Nosotros éramos 2 y pedimos para compartir: ensalada de burrata, tomate y pesto: no estaba mal, aunque el tomate estaba demasiado duro y le faltaba un poquito de pesto. chipirones con cebolla confitada: geniales, me sorprendieron mucho porque no esperaba para nada comerme un plato así de bueno en este lugar. Muy sabrosos y el toque de la cebolla pochada delicioso. tosta de lomo de ciervo: muy rica también, los filetitos cortados muy finos, muy tiernos y bastante sabrosos. Yo hubiera puesto un pelín más de salsa coma pero en general muy buena. de postre tomamos un helado de vainilla muy bueno y una tarta de oreo bastante aceptable. acompañamos la comida de unos tintos de verano y unos refrescos.
