TL;DR: Great Texas-style bbq not without its opportunities for improvement. If you're craving authentic bbq, this hits the spot.
The food was very good and well-prepared, although the sides were pretty limited. The brisket was a little cold when our food arrived, but I chalk this up to the chaos of the shift, not the food itself. That said, we did the tasting platter and everything was delicious - if you want authentic Texas-style bbq, this is the place. I'll definitely return when I get a hankering for a reminder of home.
Service was meh - not bad, not great. We had to wait a while just to get a menu and put a drink order in, and getting a drink throughout the meal meant reminding the server a few times. We were there at prime time - 3pm on a Saturday - so it was a pretty chaotic. However, despite the lapses here and there, the servers were working their butts off and seemed legitimately apologetic for any mistakes.
The atmosphere was good enough. The place can get loud, but this didn't bother us. What looked like the chef made multiple rounds asking how everything was, and he seemed legitimately interested in people's feedback (ironically, not ours even though I'm pretty sure I was the only American there 😂).
Overall, I had been thinking about coming here for about a year, and I'm happy I finally did. When I think about this meal, this pops into my mind: Great and authentic BBQ Service could be tightened up a bit I'd 100% recommend this place, and I know I'll return If I could give a 4.5 I would, but I just can't give this a 5. There was too much room for improvement in areas other than the smoked meats (sides,...

Venezuela meets Texas and landed in Valencia. We chose the sausage appetizer, the tasting platter (brisket, pork ribs, pulled pork), and the sides we chose were sweet potato fries, coleslaw and Mac cheese.
They advised to eat the brisket first as it can dry out. I’m used to a big smoke ring and a crazy flavorful dry rub that my husband does, so I found this lacking in flavor. However, it was very tender and a good size portion. I prefer dry ribs to which I can later add sauce if I choose, so I didn’t like that these were doused. The meat completely fell off the bone as we tried picking it up, where I like a bit of stick. Flavor was good. The pulled pork was ok, cooked well, but missed some flavor and pulled pork sauce would have been great! (They serve a BBQ sauce, chimichurri and a garlicky one)
The coleslaw was a bit too wet but had great flavor, the sweet potato fries were phenomenal, but sadly, the “baked Mac n cheese” was like Kraft Mac n cheese covered with cheese.
Staff was lovely, nice vibe (although I was waiting for some live music or line dancing 😂), and we’ll be back to try a few...
Read morePrice was ok or even little cheaper compared to some competitors (suggested red wine was particularly good and at a very good price, which was my only very good review here...). Food was not very good, 1x entrecot was ok, but my main menu with brisket was almost cold, too cooked and frankly not that good, pulled pork was kind of hard and the ribs also very cooked. My kids didn't like at all their hamburgers (at first look they were excited and me too but the taste was bad and price for kid's burgers very expensive). Regarding service: they even don't let me try the wine before serving (come on we are in Spain, Tinto world paradise... !), but the terrible part was the moment we finished our main course: they came several times to ask you if needs more drinks, food or something else and if not they'll come again quickly to ask you same questions so you understand it's time to go and all this after only 1hr around (and we came at opening). They insist enough to make you feel bad (we closed our red bottle to take it away with us... First time I do so! Crazy) so you go to let the place for another service/people. Usually for such place you have at least 2hr... But just because we finished our meal quicker (BUT not the wine!!), they push you out strongly....
