This place has incredible food, we chose a tasting menu with all kinds of amazing dishes, finishing off with the Tagliata steak. I don't have pictures of the small starter we got on the house or the muscatel wine with marshmallow that we got at the end, but those were incredible as well. Can't choose what I liked the most. The Sangria was the best I had this week in Valencia. The croquettes were filled with some kind of pulled beef stew that hit exactly the right spot. The patatas were drenched in a sauce that taste-wise resembles the indonesian sayur sauce, amazing flavour pairing. The steak was very tender and melted in your mouth. We ordered the steak rare (see pictures), and that's definitely how I would recommend ordering it. This place is a must-go for meat lovers when you're in Valencia.
Everyone at the restaurant was super friendly and joyful and made you feel right at home. At the beginning they stop by the table with a large cutting board full of all the different kinds of steaks they offer and explain what steak has what flavour and texture. Absolutely loved this!

Read moreAn ABSOLUTE must when in Valencia - so good we went twice in 12 hours (dinner and lunch!) The name of the restaurant let's it down, this is so much more than a Grill Bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the menu interesting and varied and the service is exemplary. You are shown the meats (with detailed description) to pick your own cut, and they even offered to take some pieces of a large sharing steak back to cook it more if one guest wanted it less rare. Exceptional with allergies (here milk, nuts, eggs and shrimp so a lot to deal with) - you can even filter the menu accordingly.
There's only a few tables so book in advance but means you get a super personal level of service. Everything we ate was spectacular and the wine list is wonderful (recommend the house red and dessert wine for the evening and their agua de valencia and sangria during the day).

The place has few tables, which distorts the spectacular service, the waiter promptly offered to speak in English or Spanish, explained to us in detail and in a very attentive way about the meats and their maturation time. to start with, we had Água de valencia, which came in a very well served pitcher. We ordered two starters, one that had pork belly and one that was baby back ribs in an Asian sauce, both wonderful. and for the main course a mature meat, which was perfect.
