Bear Club - Valencia — Restaurant in Valencia

I visited this bar today with my husband and a group of five people in total. We came in just to have a couple of beers and relax. We each ordered a beer and initially asked for chicken wings from the menu. Before the waiter even had a chance to walk away from our table, we changed our mind and asked to replace the wings with a large appetizer platter instead. Surprisingly, the waiter refused, saying the order had already been placed, even though he hadn’t taken a single step away from our table.

We didn’t want to argue, so we agreed to keep both the wings and the platter, since we were waiting for friends anyway and the food would be eaten regardless.

However, things only got worse. When our friends arrived, the service became downright appalling. The waiter was rude and completely indifferent. At one point, while our friends were trying to place their orders, the waiter literally tapped his ear and said, “I can’t hear you,” in a mocking way – even though he clearly could. His behavior was erratic and unprofessional, as if he were heavily intoxicated. It escalated to a minor confrontation, which led the manager to step in and calm the situation down.

The whole evening was ruined. We paid the bill and left immediately.

It’s a real shame because the place itself is visually very appealing – we live in Valencia, right in the city center, and we’ve occasionally stopped by for a cocktail while walking through the area. The bar has a beautiful facade and interesting decor. But after this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless you want your night ruined. There are so many great spots nearby with excellent service, great drinks, and staff who genuinely care about...

As two visitors excited to explore the nightlife in Valencia, we were shocked by the treatment we received at Bear Club. From the moment we arrived, the staff were cold, dismissive, and unwelcoming. It felt as though our presence was an inconvenience to them. When we asked simple questions, the responses were short and rude, with no effort made to be helpful or polite.

We’ve traveled extensively and understand that not every place will roll out the red carpet—but this was beyond unprofessional. If you’re looking for a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, we strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This was a major letdown and definitely not the kind of hospitality we hoped to...

I am beyond upset. I ordered from the menu (La carta) -two Guinness 6€ each and some bravas. When the check came, the Guinness were charged at 7,50€ each. I told the server there was the mistake and he stated that the QR code had the actual prices. He then came back with a new printout at 6,50€ per beer, which is the price on the QR code not the 6€ on the menu or the 7,50€ he originally charged me. I asked why he would do such a thing, and got defensive and super rude. If the beer had been priced at 7,50€ I would have paid them. What I don’t accept is deceiving and cheating. Not even an “I’m sorry we will fix the menu” He just shrugged and denied making...
