This is the best ice cream parlor in my opinion in Valencia far away Having lived in Argentina and known the best ice cream parlors in that country, I can say that this ice cream parlor is almost the equivalent of Volta or Chungo ice cream parlors, which are the best ice cream parlors in Argentina.
Argentinian ice creams are sweeter than Italian ice creams and also depending on the flavor, they are tastier than any ice cream you try in the world, there is nothing like Argentinian ice cream, the formula is unique to Argentina and no Italian or world ice cream shop. can cope with it.
My experience with Lucianno's ice cream was very satisfactory. but there were certain details that slightly overshadowed my experience in the place.
the flavors i tried were
super sabayone hazelnut cream Nut cream
For my taste, an excellent ice cream parlor is the one that manages to have all its flavors well achieved, neither too sweet nor too bland, that you cannot identify the flavor beyond that of milk and sugar.
Well, my qualification for the super sabayone which for me is the best flavor by far, everyone should try sabayon, luckily thanks to the divine light, Lucciano achieved perfection in my opinion, this flavor, being one of the few ice cream parlors in Spain that has included this fabulous flavor. The other ice cream parlor that has this flavor is the Roman (Italian) one and it is quite bland compared to this one. the other flavors are very good but one could improve a little more my rating is
super sabayon 9.6 (I recommend it) hazelnut cream 9.0 (I recommend it) nut cream 6.7
but I had to lower the overall rating a little more, because there were physical details in the place, which I don't know if they could be improved, but I noticed it.
The place was not cool enough to house the ice creams in a rigid creamy state and not as liquid creamy as I had to taste, knowing that it is summer, and it is very hot, I suppose that the air would be full,
the good ones +
the taste of Argentine-style ice creams, very successful on my visit
+congratulations on the super sabayon.
+The ice cream shop is very nice with a toy store theme.
price according to the use of quality imported raw materials and artisan production, which cannot be bought with industrial ice cream at a correct price
good attention
to improve -
-The ice cream parlor seems inefficiently refrigerated, larger air conditioners would have benefited the reception of the ice cream to the customers, preventing it from reaching a liquid state in their hands on the worst days of summer.
-Ice cream employees should be instructed to serve ice cream as in Argentina, loading them with a flat spatula and thus being able to fill them according to the size of the glass or cone and not using the typical ball spoon.
-Please train the ice cream makers correctly so they can work more comfortably and safely at work.
-please notify the client if three flavors must enter the XL cone
the ice creams can be very sweet for customers who don't know the Argentinian ice cream style.
-More flavors and more variety are needed for gluten intolerant people.
-They can be somewhat expensive for customers who do not know ice cream.
A little more tables would not have been bad.
We need more Lucciano S ice cream parlors in Valencia.
Plastic cups are cheating and will give you less ice cream than you expect by applying misleading marketing.
I liked it a lot, I'll be...
Read moreOur impromptu visit to Lucciano's Ice Cream Shop on Pl. de l'Ajuntament, 2, Ciutat Vella, 46002 in València, turned out to be an unexpected delight! Arriving at the shop around 11:15 PM, we were pleasantly surprised to find it bustling with activity - a vibrant hub teeming with eager customers even at that late hour. The lively atmosphere was infectious, with the shop abuzz and every seat taken. At Lucciano's, you first pre-select whether you want a cone or bowl, and how many scoops, and after paying, you proceed to the service counter to make your flavor selections. Patiently waiting in the service line, we marveled at the array of delectable options on display, quickly realizing the challenge of making a flavor choice as the clock neared midnight – their closing time.
With time ticking away, we swiftly made our selections, opting for a variety of cones and a playful little piggy ice pop for our young companion. Once we had paid, we eagerly made our way to a sought-after table outside, where we reveled in our flavorful choices under the starlit sky of València. Each spoonful of ice cream was a delightful revelation, some of the best we had ever tasted, further enhancing our enchanting midnight experience.
As we drew to a close near midnight, a diligent staff member graciously cleared our table, leaving us feeling truly pampered and well-attended to. Our spontaneous late-night outing to Lucciano's Ice Cream Shop was a resounding success, leaving us beaming with joy and contentment. So impressed were we by our experience that we eagerly look forward to seeking out Lucciano's in our hometown of Barcelona, knowing we have discovered a newfound favorite spot for delectable treats and...
Read moreUpdated We visited the second time, ordered different flavours of ice cream and 2 americano. Apart from the Cheesecake flavour, the rest we enjoyed it and their service really improved a lot. We experienced a bit of surprised with our ice cream and informed the staff and overall satisfied. We paid €15.20
Alright, my husband and I went here while having our night walk and thought to give this newly opened store a try since it’s been crowded ever since it’s been opened.
My husband and I ordered medium cups to have two flavours of gelato.
Flavours we tried Pistachio Chocolate Hazelnut And another flavour with Hazelnut as well We paid around 10€
Overall, we thought it was alright. First, the service can be improved. The flavour was there, but we both thought it was too sweet. The creaminess was good. As you have it in your mouth, it melts nicely. From all the flavours we picked, we’re okay with pistachio but nothing wow effect. We thought maybe the flavours we had were way too sweet for us. We don’t mind visiting again just to try other classic flavours instead.
It’s not a place that we will keep coming back for gelato but for sure you can try yourself, perhaps it’s according to...
