Pub Down Monkey Business — Restaurant in Valencia

Monkey Business Pub in Valencia is a lively spot that promises a good time. I recently visited with a group of friends, and we were impressed by the energetic atmosphere. The pub has a quirky, fun vibe with playful decor and a laid-back environment that makes you feel welcome right away.

Ok…so we dropped in for a drink and some food. They only have snacks. We ordered two G&T’s and honest, they were awesome. Except one of our glasses still had lipstick from some biatch. They promptly replaced that drink. We ordered the nachos…ok - a 10 year old with a bag of three color cheese sprinkled on top could have done better. See the pic. The dipping sauce was from a plastic cup. See the pic. So moral to the story is come for the drinks and pass on the snacks. Music and atmosphere was great and the sofas to sit on were soooo comfy. This cocktail bar is a very cozy place inside Mercat de Colón. Perfect for meeting up and listening to music while at the same time being able to have a conversation. The place promotes itself as a cocktail bar and as such must be capable of making cocktails. However, the mojito we ordered was a foul taste of rum and way too much lime. Close to the worst we've tried and no way near the idea of a sweatened mojito with a minty taste :-) The staff is very friendly, although you will have to chase the waiter to get served.
