Rausell — Restaurant in Valencia

A MUST in Valencia. I was hesitant to go because it look upscale and too popular but I am glad we decided to go and found a space by the bar (BOOK IN ADVANCE!). We loved everything in this place. The patatas bravas are a must. We also ordered mushrooms which were in season, clams, navajas and a carrot cake. Everything is homemade and fresh. You see how the cook is making most of the stuff in front of you and the jamón gets cut to perfection. They have a side place where they sell takeaway food they make which is great if you are in a rush or if you can’t get a spot in the restaurant. The service is extraordinary, everyone is professional and friendly. You will find both tourists and local people and it’s amazing they have kept it authentic considering...

Very little but awesome place. They had all tables booked but notwithstanding that they got us a table for four. We had starters and main course of meat, grilled vegetables, and all the food was excellent. From the jamon iberico to the potatoes with paprika sauce and garlic, to the grilled entrecote. And the vegetables were astonishing. Bravo! Amazing, for how many people came in and patiently waited on foot for a place to sit and eat. Or drinking beer while waiting. Simply amazing. Will try again another day to try the "sea" menu they offer. Best Carajilla coffee ever tried. The one...

Rausell es un excelente restaurante con solera ubicado en la calle Ángel Guimerá de Valencia.

También dispone de un local en la entrada de comidas preparadas para llevar que es una delicia para la vista y donde te será muy complicado elegir dada la gran variedad existente en sus vitrinas. A destacar sus famosas patatas bravas y pollo a l'ast (los mejores de toda Valencia). La sepia con mayonesa, calamares a la romana, croquetas, berenjenas rellenas, morro, ensalada de pasta, todo tipo de arroces,... buenísimos!!!

Almorzar en el restaurante es ir predispuesto a saber que ese día no vas a comer porque los bocatas que preparan son deliciosos y contundentes. O bien decantarte por la opción de medio bocadillo pero no sé si una vez allí podrás resistirte a la tentación.

Las comidas son, simplemente, ESPECTACULARES. Comer allí siempre es sinónimo de calidad, garantía, calidez, tradición, cariño,... Estás comiendo y en todo momento están pendientes de ti muy discretamente, sin agobiarte, para que no te falte de nada y que todo esté en su punto y en su justo momento. Te van sacando los platos según vas terminando para que todo esté a su justa temperatura y no se amontonen en la mesa (me parece algo a destacar).

Cambio de menaje entre plato y plato (muy pocos restaurantes lo hacen hoy en día).

Servicio muy profesional, exquisito, rápido, cercano y humano. A pesar de estar siempre lleno el restaurante y no parar, nunca les oirás gritar o decirse una mala palabra entre ellos. Siempre se respira muy buen ambiente.

De la calidad del producto no hace falta que escriba nada, los premios que los avalan hablan por si solos. Y las colas para comprar comida preparada también, jejeje.
