Moon River Chinese Seafood Restaurant - Kollupitiya — Restaurant in Colombo

Nice elegant newly opened restaurant (was told it waa operating at another location) with spacious dining floor and many choices of private dining rooms with karaoke set up. Brightlly lit interior with pleasant soothing ambience and spacious walk path between dining tables. Menu is comprehensive with dishes of almost all 8 major cuisine types of China. The restaurant has hired many chefs who mastered dishes of these cuisine types. Service is friendly and fast. The food taste is excellent and authentic; probably can match top rate restaurants in China. Price is comparable versus other Chinese restaurants in Colombo (could be cheaper than some too), but compare the quality of food, taste and standard of cooking, value for money, this restaurant might rank among the top, if not the top, chinese restaurant in Colombo. Definitely worth return dining...

I had an amazing dining experience at Moon River Restaurant in Colombo. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I ordered the pork dumplings, mutton ribs, and butter garlic prawns—all three were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The dumplings were a standout—clearly handmade and packed with flavor.
