Indo Ceylon Cafe — Restaurant in Colombo

Great place for having some vegetarian food. The foods are tasty and priced very attractively. The service is also really good. The milk tea and milk coffee is very good, and I can recommend it for others. One issue I found was the lack of parking, since this the only medium sized vegetarian food restaurant in kollupitiya the issue can be waived off as for me. Anyway be mindful of parking problems, but you can always park in other roadside parking slots nearby. The shop is also open on some poya-days which is very convenient. When I was a vegetarian way back in 2004 to 2006, I was a regular visitor for this restaurant. I had the taste of several dishes. It used to be a great place for an authentic Tamil vegetarian food lover. My favourite was ghee masala dosa.

I visited this place after 18 years, and the place has not changed that much. So it was a nostalgic feeling.

I have ordered ulundu vadai and ghee masala dosa. Vadai was okay but I felt that the dosa was not up to the mark where it used to be. Still, the prices are somewhat okay for a traditional Tamil...

This place is a superb find. When you are on Galle road, atleast one time visit this cafe.very simple ,basic, sumptuous,clean local food.
