Exquisite dinning in Galle Fort at the Old Dutch Hospital building. We had lunch in the corridor where seating is provided just outside the Cannon Bar and Grill. Because of the ongoing power cuts we were forced to eat outside the main restaurant. However, it was a blessing in disguise as we had a great view of the Indian Ocean while enjoying the lunch. The lunch consistently of Soup, Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Kottu and Sea Food Kottu was extremely delicious. Despite the power cut it was ready quickly. The service was good and courteous. The food was overpriced, extremely disappointing and to top it off the manager didn't seem to be bothered by the problems we were facing and looked extremely arrogent.

Some of the issues we faced - a vegetarian in our group was served a pasta with chicken, the pizza was like an off the rack base with processed-sliced cheese, the chilly chicken was half served with pieces that we're only bone, a devil's chicken dish was served with cold rice like it had just been taken from the fridge.
