Barbeque Steakhouse & Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

Very well located restaurant. Good quality. I had dinner at around 8 pm... We were two... The process are very Good for a restaurant on the center of Stockholm... Burgers, chicken, beef, ribs, all under 220 SEK (22 EUR). We saw a dish that was 349 SEK(35 EUR) which featured 1000 grams of food, so we thought... Let's order that, and we share... Upon asking the waitress, she said that if we wanted to share, we would have to pay 100 SEK (10 EUR) extra... WHAAAAT?!?!?! that was just RIDICULOUS!!! We even thought about ordering a burger which was around 149 SEK (15 EUR), but we did not want to go around the "rules", we were hungry, and we payed the extra money. The dish had 1/2 slab of ribs, around 100 grams of beef loin (very tender and good quality), around 150 grams of pork loin (also very tender), 1/2 chicken breast, and 1/2 lobster (the size around 2 to 2 1/2 hands put together as if you were cupping water in your hands). Since we payed the extra, we each got a little basket of fries (maybe the equivalent of 3/4 or 1 potato), two full spoons of coleslaw, a handful of mixed greens with chopped tomatoes and a flat bread... The food was very tasty and good quality... Everything was tender and properly cooked, HOWEVER... they poured A LOT of BBQ sauce over EVERYTHING... The dish said "BBQ something" but you never expect you food to be swimming in BBQ sauce. A little sauce, or even better, sauce in the side would be much better as you can taste the grilled food on its own... The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because of the extra money for sharing a dish!!! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!!! Just change the price of the dish! Would I have to pay extra if I go with someone, we are not very hungry, and we want to share a burger?!?! NEVER have I seen a restaurant where they charge extra for sharing a dish! Again... ABSOLUTELY...

The food is alright. Nothing amazing. Which is to be expected by a place that serve pizza. Bbq. Grill. Asian. And more under one roof. The lamb chops were decent and passed. Could have done with a more confident seasoning which lamb usually need. The pizza was fairly good and the bbq chicken was fairly average.

Same with the service. Ok response time initially for seating (seeing as the place was pretty packed it was even pretty good.) Good speed for raking initial order aswell. But from there it was downhill a bit with mixed up orders and waitress stating " I dont think we have that" untill i pointed it out on the menue . During the meal it was hopelessly slow to get drinks refills and when it came to dessert it took us asking two different waitress that we wanted to order dessert both telling us they would fetch our waitress only for us to wait another 15 minutes after both attempts i finally spoyyed her passinh us and asked her to come take the order. And after that ut took another 15 minutes just to get the coffe drinks. Which where incorrect and mixed up but fairly decently made atleast. The one thing saving this review to an 3 instead of 2 is the desserts were correct and well made.. but served 15 minutes after the drinks ordered to acompany.

There are far better places nearby at same pricerange. And stepping up just a lil bit places you at some amazing places in stockholm. Considering its location it is lackluster and fallinh short. More the kinda place expected in a...

This place looks fantastic. The decor is wonderful and the lighting impeccable.

Unfortunately things started to go downhill when we were seated. The waitress was pushing us to order within 2 minutes of getting menus.

The one thing we asked was whether there was a chilli sauce with the burger and were assured there wZ not. So we ordered ribs and a burger.

The food was the next disappointment. Despite assurances, there was chilli sauce on the burger. Reporting this to the waitress resulted in an apology, but no offer to correct the issue.

Next, the ribs appeared to be relying on size alone for their sales. The meat itself was tasteless. I could almost believe the sous-vide bag split. The BBQ sauce served with them was flavourful, but limited in quantity. Overall a disappointment

The final disappointment was with the serving staff. After failing to catch the attention of our waitress a few times, I asked a colleague for the bill. 5 minutes later it had not arrived, but the original waitress buzzed past. On being asked about the bill, she started dressing me down and accusing me of not requesting one. Anyhow, on getting the bill, we paid and left, resolving to never return.
