Coquetel Social — Restaurant in Stockholm

My friends and I used to really love this bar-- cool atmosphere and really nice cocktails. We started coming so frequently that the bartenders and security started to recognize us! Recently, one of the bouncers invited us to join him at Coquetal Social on his night off, and made us very uncomfortable by expressing strong political views we disagreed with. Before this, he had requested to follow all of our Instagrams, and had DM'd one of my friends. We did not cause a scene or disturbance, but decided to leave after feeling wildly uncomfortable. We came back on a night where he was (unfortunately) working the front door, and he refused to let us in and tried to embarrass us because we would not let him follow us on Instagram. A fab night and delicious cocktails, interior and service at Coquetel Social thanks to Sebastian and Alexandra for making it special. We stumbled upon the bar looking for another listing but no regrets, we were made to feel welcome and loved the music and relaxed vibe which didn't feel pretentious or intimidating. Everything we ordered was delicious. I am indecisive so asked Sebastian for recommendations based on spirit and palate preferences and I wasn't disappointed. My partner is old school and enjoyed a Side Car, Old Fashioned and Cairpirinha and was equally happy. Imagine waking up tomorrow in a place where you have no idea you're actually in Stockholm. The atmosphere is so reminiscent of Brazil that you could easily mistake it for being there! The enchanting sounds of bossa nova music fill the air, while the interior exudes a striking boho chic style with a touch of retro vibes. To top it off, we were fortunate to encounter a highly knowledgeable barista who not only communicated flawlessly but also guided us with a warm smile.
