Italiano Bar — Restaurant in Stockholm

If I go to an Italian restaurant and order "fresh pasta" - I expect fresh homemade pasta, because it have the word "fresh" in it. But this wasn't by any means fresh or homemade. The waiter didn't know anything about the food or what was in it. She was friendly and tried her best, but I doubt anyone had taken their time to explain what the food was. The Lasagna tasted like it was just re-heated, and that could be OK if it was just a cafe, but this isn't just a cafe its a restaurant. We didn't try their Pizza, but those that were seated next to us, looked like they liked it, and it...

There are many reasons why Italiano Bar is worth a visit but it's greatest charm is it's staff.

Clearly the management have selected their team with great care and the result is an establishment that's extraordinarily warm and inviting.

It's beautifully appointed yet laid back. Everything from the decor to the menu is classically Italian.

I have been here a number ro times during quiet hours, when they have offered just about OK service. But today it was rather busy and our waiter vas very unprofessional, rude and uninterested in giving any kind of service. Add the loud trumpet music that made conversation very difficult and they refused to lower the volume. So I will never come back. There are many much better Italian bars/cafés...
