Complaint about Rude Treatment and ID Policy
Dear Management,
I would like to express my disappointment with the treatment I received at your bar recently. As a regular consumer, I have always enjoyed the ambiance and service at your place, which is why I chose it for my farewell party.
However, my experience was marred by the rude behavior of your security staff at the door on Friday, 12th April. Despite being a 36-year-old individual with valid identification on my phone through the Freja app, I was denied entry because I did not have a physical ID card.
I found this policy perplexing and discriminatory, especially considering that everyone else in my group was allowed entry with their IDs. I am 36 year old scientist, and I expect to be treated with respect and understanding, particularly when I am not under the influence of alcohol.
I urge you to review your ID policy and ensure that your staff are trained to handle situations with courtesy and respect for all. Additionally, providing information about digital identification options like Freja could prevent similar incidents in the future.
I hope that my feedback will lead to positive changes in your establishment and improve the experience for...
Read moreI have been searching for Mexican food that is closer to or gives me the feeling of being closer to home, what I might get in the Midwest or even Southwestern USA. I hadn’t found it until I went to Geronimos. For starters my partner and I had the queso dip and the lobster mac. But first I was pleasantly surprised by receiving chips and salsa! The queso was delicious and the lobster mac, while maybe not fitting on the menu of a Mexican restaurant was really good! Our mains were the birria tacos and the Al pastor quesadilla and the food shined through. You won’t be able to perfectly match things like cheese types compared to an American Mexican restaurant but the textures and flavors were there, it scratched an itch I’ve been looking for for a while. The quesadilla tortillas were crispy and the cheese and meat were flavorful. The birria tacos were soft with a hint of crunch and the meat and sauce were divine. Bits of melted cheese crusted on the outside of the taco shell. I am already planning a trip back. I regret not...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place, and was geared up for the prices which are fairly high for Mexican, even in Stockholm.
We started with queso, which itself was fine. Not great. The chips were bad, however, and looked like someone had crammed too many of them in the deep fryer at once and then cooked them too long. Many were broken into small shards.
The mains were okay, but I have to say the primary seasoning was salt. Be prepared to get thirsty.
The margaritas were off the bright green persuasion, no fresh lime. I realize I didn't get the most expensive ones, but for 100 SEK+, I don't think a small upgrade above the lowest shelf of imitation margarita mix is too much to ask.
The biggest disappointment was the aloof and somewhat rude service. Even when the food is subpar, if the staff is at least kinda nice it can really upgrade...
