I don't hate it (because of the food), but I definitely don't love it (because of the concept).
➖ The food choice section is in the front of the local, quite close to opening door. It means that if there is a queue of people waiting for a place, it will almost get mixed with the queue of people choosing food. ➖ If there is a queue of people choosing food options, being a part of it you'll have a difficulty to see all your options and plan something coherent in advance. ➖ Weighing your food! Really, this is a part I really hate. A tiny nightmare. You cannot weigh your bowl after every ingredient group to control how much you have taken (you know, like when you buy food in a popular salad supermarket bar). I ended up taking too little, so it was the first time in years when I left a food place still feeling a bit too hungry. ➖ Some ingredients are placed quite high, so one must be extra careful while putting them on plate. ➖ At the sauce section there is a lot of ingredients to choose from, but one-three recipe suggestions would be really helpful.

If your taste buds are all about the real deal when it comes to Chinese cuisine, this place will bowl you over (pun intended). I went for the Original broth, got a tad enthusiastic with the toppings, and ended up with a pricier creation. The experience? Picture a vibrant playground for your palate, where you build your own bowl adventure, pay based on its weight, and feast on a glorious array of fresh ingredients and tantalizing soups. It's a feast that fills both the belly and the...

Easy to find, close to the metro station they have 4-5 options for soups but my favorite is dry malatang.
The owner and the waitress are friendly and the place is cute, decorated with Chinese style.
They have a lot of options of fresh vegetables and food for you to put in your bowl.
I would recommend them to have a recipe for Mala sauce because they also have ingredients for sauce for you to create for your own but sometimes people don’t know how to do it, it might be nice to have instructions of how to make a delicious sauce...
