MELT Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Stockholm

A very intimate venue and certainly on the higher end of the price scale in the city, MELT is certainly one unique but totally lively venue.

I'd certainly recommend it for a special occasion to enjoy it to the max, reserve a table (Minimum spend requirements per head do apply) and enjoy some brilliant performances and take advantage of the plentiful drinks that they have on offer, though be wary of prices as previously mentioned. This isn't a place for a casual get-together, it's for an occasion which I must say certainly does fit right in with the whole vibe and atmosphere of MELT!

Food offerings looked brilliant but these require a table reservation so I had to do without but the bar staff were wonderful, the staff were wonderful and the performers were wonderful too.

Tipping is encouraged and for those of you who don't have the Swedish mobile payment app "Swish", I'd strongly advise bringing some varying denominations of cash if you'd like to tip one of...

We came here during a Thursday, and they were playing bingo. There were many open seats, but it was outrageously hot inside. The atmosphere was awkward because the emcee was a little too loud and intense for the few people who were there. We waited 20 minutes for someone to approach us about ordering our drinks *during this time we tried to approach the bar to order our own but were told to wait at our table to order. Once the round of bingo was over, there was a random one woman, one song "show" of a girl running from one end of the room to the other, removing articles of clothing to a very bizarre act, then nothing. Our drinks were not worth the extremely hot room or extremely long wait, so we opted to leave and have dinner elsewhere. I'm not sure how this place is on other evenings, but maybe we were just there on an off night. A really HOT off night. Had really high hopes, so was sadly disappointed, though the staff...

And then I decided to book for my birthday for drinks. And the experience was quite less nice. The waitress that served us will say you have two hours (which doesn't appear when you book, please add it) and then pressure to reach the amount of consumption per table before the deadline, which could be fine but feels a bit low and you will probably reach it naturally. Then she will take me out of the table to ask me to order more before the two hours, and then when we are still drinking ask us to leave. Which is kind of understandable but comes across as rude, specially since I planned to go there to enjoy my birthday and I was only being pushed by her.

On the other hand the place is beautiful and the shows are great, so I hope you can fix that at least...
