Edit: After the response from the owner, this restaurant deserves this rating. We did tip for the breaking glass (the lady did not say to pay for the glass out loud, also didn’t bother to ask if I was okay or hurt by the way but did make us extremely uncomfortable with her facial expressions which made both of us uncomfortable, at that point, she could just simply ask us to pay for it and we would have, I mean, what a weird policy they have unlike other restaurants “no, we don’t directly ask you to pay but we will make you uncomfortable enough and be passive aggressive about it because we care for our guests”?! That’s precisely why my partner forgot his cap because we rushed out hurriedly from the restaurant) Horrible attitude, utterly unsuitable for running a restaurant. I gave my honest review and instead of being accountable and polite, they’re extremely hostile and still passive aggressive. Seems to me that an amateur person just decided to open a restaurant who doesn’t know anything about customer service or experience and never bothered to learn. The lady’s tone in real life reflects exactly the response below; treat it as an example. Their staff may know how to cook but definitely lacking in service. The way they respond on Google seems like they need a few lessons on restaurant management. Avoid!!!
This restaurant has perhaps gone through a recent revamp because the name is different on Google. We walked in expecting excellence looking at the reviews, the decor is quite chic and they serve authentic Italian food. I really liked the spaghetti with beef, truffle sauce and mushrooms, however, the beef was a little chewy. The Tiramisu was nice. The gentleman who served us was warm and friendly, however, the lady seemed really cold. I accidentally broke a glass while getting up from my seat which is an incident that I’m sure happens frequently at a restaurant but they were quite cold about it, we also tipped due to this incident but still her behaviour wasn’t friendly. Read moreThe food is poor/below average in this place but this review is more about the attitude of the owner/management toward the well-being of their staff and the satisfaction of customers.
We visited on Easter Sunday evening 31/03/2024 at approximately 1845hours. The waitress/server, as it turned out, was concurrently working as maître d', cleaner and general dogsbody because her employers had not rostered enough staff. The lady in question was quite excellent, incredibly polite, apologetic (even though it was not her fault) and worked tirelessly. Unfortunately, whoever runs this place also only rostered ONE PERSON to work in the kitchen on their own!!! By 1910hrs, the restaurant was quite full - a lot of bookings apparently - so two members of staff was never going to cut it. Apparently, no other member of staff would come and aid their colleagues.
We ordered nearly as soon as we came in the door but did not receive our food for nearly 50 minutes. The server was rushing about dropping checks at tables, grabbing drinks, getting orders out of the kitchen, picking up paid checks, bussing tables etc. But nothing could stifle the bad atmosphere in the room. Certain customers were getting more and more annoyed and upset with the server, especially when it became clear that the restaurant hand not ordered enough supplies. Things started to be left out of dishes - no mushrooms in a mushroom dish, no nduja in a nduja dish, spaghetti served instead of pappardelle in a pappardelle dish...
The garlic bread - 55SEK was nothing more than store-bought white bread with some garlic oil.
The pappardelle dishes (we ordered one of each) 249SEK/259SEK were a gloopy, thick mess, the risotto looked like it was slop. I don't blame the person working in the kitchen for this, however. It is IMPOSSIBLE to run a stove and try to be your own sous-chef/busboy/plate washer at the same time.

Read moreMidrange food with an expensive price tag. The pasta had really good consistency and was well made, but the meat was bone dry and the dishes overall were just flat and lacking in taste. Calling it Italian is an insult to Italian food.
Server was friendly but started out by serving one of our dishes to the table next to us. My partner finished her food before I even got mine (which I had to get up and ask for since they ignored our table). They apologized to our table neighbor for getting the wrong dish, but didn't mention it whatsoever to us. Instead they told us they thought we wanted the dishes in separate order(???). Strictly unprofessional.
To top it off, we were served champagne in a broken glass. No apologies for this either, just emptied the glass into a new one in front of us.
Locale was cozy and nicely decorated.
To sum it up, a complete rip-off. Your money is spent much better...
