John Scotts — Restaurant in Stockholm

Worst food-experience ever. In short, three people still hungry after visit and one person food poisoned.

After waiting 1,5 hours for starters, we got our main courses - bad timing. 3 out of 4 ordered dishes were cold - probably cooked properly but just not served while hot. Two dishes were un-eatable and were sent back, 15 minutes later we received the same dishes (just re-heated) - but still not warm and half of the lobster-dish was missing (no one ever ate of the lobster). Still hungry and really fed up, we asked for the tab, telling them we would not pay for the food we didnt touch. They said they couldnt let us go without paying, but would give us a discount. When we told the manager that we didnt order cold food and wouldnt pay for it, he let us go. And when we asked for the reason to why this visit became such a disaster, the manager basically blamed the other guests. And on top of that, the person that actually got warm food and ate it got food poisoned.

Bad food and lame staff. Perhaps would be a good idea to change the name to just Marions and replace the restaurant with more bowling courts.

Never going to visit this place ever again, worst...

Went there with my friends to eat and then play some bowling. The food was really good, I ate the Top Side Beef and then finished off with a slightly too pricey milkshake (though it still tasted really good!). The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, maybe a tad too warm though (they said they couldn't do anything about it). The bowling was a little more mediocre though. The lanes was a little shorter than the standard, but that wasn't a problem. The problem was that the space in front of the lanes was tiny! You had to be careful so that you didn't swung the ball in the face of those you played with. They also didn't have any service at the lanes, even though there was a button that you could push to call the waiter. Unfortunately we arrived some minutes late from the food, and the promised "bowling hour" of 55 minutes started at the booked time (even though there wasn't anyone after us), so we only got about 45 minutes, which didn't get better when it ended some minutes earlier than it should have.

To summarize: the restaurant was nice, I would give it a 4 out of 5. But the bowling pulls the total...

We were served by 2 waiters during evening and one of them took the order but didn't bring it. Then another one came and asked again what we have ordered. As a result 2 more beers and 2 single burger instead of double burger was added to the bill. The staff was rude and couldn't explain where the extra beers and burger comes from. We spent about 30 min trying to figure out this, and, more then that, during the conversations the attempt to add 6 more extra items were made by the staff, but after talking to each over they agreed that 6 items were too much. The manager didn't talk to us, she talked only to the staff. Fianaly, 2 beers were removed, but we paid for 2 single burger instead of one double even if double burger was presented in the menu. Taking into consideration that we took only 9 beers and 6 courses for 6 people, it was pretty hard to mix it up, but it was.
